identity anchor.

DIM is intended to support lifelong medical continuity, disaster recovery, digital safety
education, and secure future participation in digital systems, without requiring early participation in
government or commercial identity platforms.

Valence refers to the emotional quality of an experience—whether it is positive (rewarding, pleasant) or negative (punishing, aversive). Research shows that many non-human animals share core valence systems with humans, particularly in brain regions associated with reward, punishment, and emotional learning.
These shared systems suggest that basic emotional responses are evolutionarily conserved, though the complexity and expression of valence vary across species.
