Not a former fan but I found out about him through the investigation. I've seen a few here asking about music alternatives and I just wanted to share one. I stumbled across a band called The Rare Occasions and I feel like they have a pretty similar style/sound from what little I've heard. I don't think the band is together anymore but I also haven't found any major controversies or illegal acts surrounding them. Anyway I hope that helps.
