Why didn't Marie offer to suck his cock? Is she stupid?
Do Spanish speaking New Mexicans like when non fluent speakers do their best?
I'm from north Carolina, and most Spanish speakers there got a little angsty with me if I tried to meet them half way whenever they were ordering food or some such from me. I started to only try when they were really struggling to say whatever but they still usually got mad
Here however most non English speakers and bilinguals actually seem happy when I follow their Spanish speaking lead. A few times I've had people reply in English but that usually just ends in mutual laughter. Sometimes I get people who pull up translator and I kinda prefer to play it by ear instead but we still get along
I'm guessing out there, they have more need to learn English so that's why they get mad, and mexico is right next door here and their culture is the dominant group here, so they probably feel good about the white guy making a pretty decent attempt
That's my thought anyway, I'm interested in what locals think too
[Request] What would it take for a collective of citizens to build American businesses Americans want?
For example, everybody wants a fast food breakfast place that doesn't stop after 10am. They'd all also like it to pay workers fair and have good food and either cheap or have big portions. Theoretically, if a large number of people get together and pool money and intelligence, they could create a system where everyone is a share holder, there's a union, food gets sourced locally and cooked fresh. And it would literally have the backing of the average American. This idea could be transferred to any kinds of stores. Furniture stores shelved by local carpenters, clothing stores by local textile workers. So what would it take to get there?
AI to filter through trash for recycling
Would we be able to use ai to start going through landfills and going through trash and sorting materials?
Not memory like our memories, but like floppy disk memory
If 1 gram of dna can hold 1000 terabytes of data, why don't we create like a small thin square inch of dna matter and plug it into a computer and get nigh infinite memory storage
Let's say I'm riding a moped that's less than 50cc in albuquerque nm. By law I don't need a license plate
So let's say I get pulled over and I'm told the reason is because I don't have a plate
Would my rights be violated if the officer then demands license and to verify it's less than 50cc?
Would I need to say something like "or what? You need to threaten me with handcuffs before I'll give you my license or let you check my moped"
What would the scenario need to look like to be able to sue the nm police department for infringing upon my rights?
As I understand it, it's not illegal to follow the law, and to pull me over they need ras. Me following the law isn't ras that I've committed a crime
Thank you for your time
Still on loan for 3.5k. Some engine damage carvana gonna pay to fix, just 50 on my end. I want to get rid of it to lower my expenses.
It has no seats except for driver
Kbb says about 5.5k for their lowest condition
I'd be happy with paying the loan off and a few hundred to spare
What could I expect from a dealer? I'm thinking of going to one to be quick about the whole ordeal. I don't want to haggle too much, i know they need room to profit. 4k would leave 1.5k for them to net profit
