Another tiny tall car

I like the colour of the Venue. I'm not sure about the newer Kona look.

Beautiful day on Kilally trail between Adelaide and Highbury

It's great to see families out biking enjoying nature. But, to some of the Dads out there... that wonderful family bike ride is not an olympic try-out. I'm pretty sure no one is timing the ride and it's not necessary to be 2km ahead of your family or partner. 😁

A beautiful day.

Mine is the 2021 Venue Ultimate Denim on the right. This Mini Cooper seems the same size? Interior space same?

What are the two buttons to left of SOS?

What are the two buttons to the left of the SOS? Would you use them during normal driving?

More Venue adventures

My tiny tall 2021 Venue Ultimate Denim and I went out kayaking today. I love this little car. Such character.

New boat launch at Windermere Fields

The city is building a beautiful boat launch just off Adelaide St N at Windermere Fields on the upper Thames.

Sunday 9 August, Wilson and I got out and about. With rain the last couple days the river was a little higher. Even in the centre of the city nature is so awesome. 😊

Gee a lot of battery posts

I've probably added to what seems like continual poor battery posts. Keep in mind how you use your phone makes a difference in battery success or failure. We are not the same...

- mobile vs wifi equals more battery

- 5g vs LTE equals more battery

- 120 vs 60hz equals more battery

- live stream music or video equals more battery

- intense game play equals more battery

- constant AI use equals more battery

- continual social media use equals more battery

- etc etc

Consequently, we all use our phone differently and have different results... but the reality is that how you use your phone will directly impact your battery SOT.

New to SSRI and have questions

I'm older and throughout my life I understood I had obsessive compulsions and was an extreme introvert. While working, my mind was like my super power. I could see and understand things that many others couldn't. Now that I am retired my mind has little stimulation and I find myself focused on the symmetry of my home. Are the curtains exactly straight and spacing identical? Are the pictures straight? Shoes in a straight line? Are dishes being used equally and rotated? Ceiling light spacing and identical? Am I stepping on each part of the stair steps equally? Etc etc

All this comes at the cost of having a good sleep. Alcohol, cannabis and sleeping pills seem to have little affect. My doctor has prescribed Escitalopram Oxalate 10 mg (lexapro) and I'm afraid to start the meds.

Will it make me slow? Affect my personality? Any input is appreciated.

Events in London Ontario

I suspect many are already aware, but Tourism London has excellent information on events throughout the city.

If others know of another great resource, please share.

Always encouraging

I was out and about today in Strathroy and I'm always encouraged by such gestures. Share a smile London. :)

Highbury and Oxford efficient or confusing?

The new intersection on Highbury at Oxford has me baffled. I suspect all the cement to create bus stops in the middle of north south traffic was costly. It's also somewhat confusing when driving. But my question is how do bus users get to the center area efficiently and safely and will the east west lights be controlled by buses?

McNay creek looking healthy

The McNay creek/drain is looking pretty healthy. The mallard population is growing and flourishing.😊

Another tiny tall car?

Mine is the 2021 Venue Ultimate Denim beside a red Infinity. I wonder how much they spent for that tiny tall car?

Kilally Meadows at Sweetbriar

Kilally Meadows at Sweetbriar is probably one of the highlights of the Kilally trails. It's an offshoot of the main trail or accessible from Sweetbriar Rd. The stairs going down from street level can be intimidating so take your time and enjoy nature.

Today's pictures don't really do it justice, as it was overcast and water levels are low but it is still a gem.

Excellent battery during a difficult day

I live in southern Ontario Canada and today fire smoke blew into the area making air quality extremely poor with a very high risk to health (AQHI 11).

Consequently I spent all day inside on wifi scrolling, reading and sharing. I am at 10hrs SOT with 52 percent battery. Well done pixel 9a.

Now these were perfect conditions: all wifi, minimal video streaming and no gaming. Still impressive. Phone temperature never went above 32.6c even with continual use.

Air Quality in London

This site will provide real time Air Quality for London. Please don't rely on weather apps as their job is to just do the basics. This site allows you to see forecast, change areas, dangers etc

Parked beside a sibling

While out and about today, I parked beside a sibling. Mine is the 2021 Venue Ultimate Denim. I think the 17" rims look so much better, as well as the waterfall grill. But I actually think the no roof rails looks better.

Another tiny tall car

I love it when I see other tiny tall cars. This time it is a white Juke next to my 2021 Venue Ultimate Denim. This time I think the Juke looks better.

Enjoying my pixel 9a

I read a lot of negative posts about pixel phones and I have probably contributed with complaints. So I wanted to share something positive.

Since the android 17 and subsequent Play Services updates my pixel 9a has been performing well. Battery is exceptional. I can easily manage 8hrs SOT prior to 40 percent. No overheat issues. For an A series phone it simply does the basics very well.
