Honestly didn't expect to like Awarapan 2 this much

I was actually little worried before watching Awarapan 2. Sequels after so many years usually dont work and I thought this will also be one of those movies. But honestly, I liked it.

Emraan Hashmi as Shivam still works so well. He doesnt even have to do too much, his face and the way he plays the character is enough. The movie also has that same dark and emotional feel which I liked in the first one.

Music was also a big plus for me. Some scenes really gave me that old Awarapan feeling. Is it better than the first one? No, atleast for me. The first movie had something very different and emotional about it.

But I dont think Awarapan 2 deserves all the hate either. I went in expecting a bad sequel and came out actually happy that I watched it. Maybe nostalgia helped a little lol, but still, I enjoyed it.

What did you guys think?

Feels like Emraan Hashmi is finally making a proper comeback

Not gonna lie, it feels like Emraan Hashmi has slowly started coming back into the conversation again. For a few years it felt like people only remembered him for the songs from his movies. But now with Awarapan 2 happening, I'm seeing more people talk about his performances too. He always had a loyal fanbase, it just never felt loud enough compared to other actors from that era

Do you guys think this comeback will actually work or is it mostly nostalgia talking?

Why isn't Awarapan talked about more when discussing modern Bollywood classics?

I rewatched Awarapan recently and was surprised by how well it still holds up. The film had a solid story, a restrained performance from Emraan Hashmi, memorable music, and an emotional ending that stayed with people. It wasn't a massive blockbuster, but over the years it seems to have found a much bigger audience.

I also feel it's one of those films that changed how many people looked at Emraan as an actor. He had done commercial films before, but Awarapan showed he could carry an emotional drama just as well..Do you think Awarapan has become a cult classic over time, or is that just nostalgia talking? Also, where would you rank it among the best Hindi films of the 2000s?

How do I actually get rid of body tan?

I’ve got pretty noticeable tan on my arms, neck and other exposed parts of my body because of being out in the sun a lot.

I’m trying to get my original skin tone back, but I’m confused about what actually works. I’ve seen people recommend scrubs, exfoliating acids, body lotions, etc., but I don’t want to damage my skin by trying random stuff.

For people who’ve actually dealt with body tan, what worked for you? Any specific products or routine you’d recommend?

Also, how long did it take before you noticed a visible difference?

Hot take. Emraan Hashmi would've been much bigger if he started his career today

I know this might sound weird but hear me out.

I honestly think Emraan Hashmi was just ahead of his time. Back then people only saw him as the guy with romantic thrillers and amazing songs, but there was more to him than that.

If he debuted today, when people are more open to different kind of actors and stories, I genuinely think he would've been in the same conversation as some of the biggest names. OTT would've suited him really well too.

Maybe I'm overthinking it but I feel he never got the respect he actually earned.

Curious what everyone else thinks. Agree or completely wrong?

Anyone else feel Emraan Hashmi never got the credit he deserved?

Was randomly watching some old Emraan Hashmi movies this week and honestly it got me thinking.

People mostly remember him because of the songs or the serial kisser image but if you actually watch films like Awarapan, Jannat, Shanghai or Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, he was actually a pretty solid actor.

I feel like he never got talked about in the same way as other actors from that time. Maybe because he kept doing similar kind of films for a while. But looking back now, a lot of his movies have aged really well. Even the music still hits.

With Awarapan 2 coming, I think people are talking about him again. Hopefully this time he gets more appreciation.

Or maybe I'm just being nostalgic lol. What do you guys think?

Why does Prince Narula have time for everything except addressing this controversy?

The Hitzone allegations have been all over social media for days. Whether the claims are true or false, a simple statement could clear things up. Ignoring it completely is only making people more curious.
