How in the heck do I get this out??
It’s 1. Like…encased in thin throat membrane, because I tried to push it and it won’t move and 2. Attached to someone with a REALLY bad gag reflex
I’ve used long medical q-tips, a popsicle stick, and my fingers.

I’m back!
I applied as many suggestions as I could to create two new characters. I didn’t change anything about the other two (yet?) except for the ears pointing down on the green character.
Are these new designs more in line with good character design? I feel like my skill has improved a lot since my previous post!

This is honestly the hardest thing I’ve done in a while. OC designs that I’ll be using in story/comic. they are still a WIP and no rendering yet.
I don’t think they stand out a ton. What can I do to make them more…recognizable? Is it the clothing? (My worst skill prob) Same face syndrome? hair? 😭
I really enjoy this piece but i want it to be better…does it need more contrast? How do i make it feel/look more lively without using a different art style?
Hey everyone, I’m working on an original character design for a story and I'm having trouble figuring out the next steps. It's the most interesting character I’ve drawn lately, but the vibe feels a bit flat and boring. I tried playing with the hair and colors, but it still isn't clicking. I can't pinpoint exactly what's wrong, so I'd love a fresh pair of eyes to point out what might be dragging it down.
This is a digital piece and I didn't use any exact reference images, however I did come up with a prompt of the story behind the character. My main goal is a chibi/cartoony/stylized aesthetic with thick, flat line art and simple, rounded shapes, etc.
I’d love specific feedback on whether the silhouette or geometry looks too stiff, and how I can make it more dynamic while keeping the shapes simple.
Also, color balance is something I always struggle with, so please let me know if these tones look right or if they are contributing to the dull feeling.
Also, if you have any ideas for simple details or props I could add to the clothing to bring out more personality without overcomplicating the line art, I'm all ears!
Working on trying to create ocs that have a story behind them. This is probably the most interesting character I’ve drawn. However, it’s feeling boring overall. I also do struggle with color and sometimes they don’t look right.
I have had my 5yr old male cat (the bald guy) for 4 years. I got new 8mo old female cat two saturdays ago. Introductions went quickly and smoothly.
Usually Toby will sort of play, but for the most part, he runs away, but not scared. Just chasing. Momo is the instigator lol.
Today (roughly 1.2 weeks later) they started playing like THIS. Since there was no hissing or other signs of frustration, I let it go on. Toby always airplane ears at literally everything so that wasn’t a red flag for me.
If you turn the volume up you’ll hear him chuffing? He’s never done that before!
Is this type of play good? He’s 2x her size so idk if he’s potentially hurting her or is being too rough.
Sorry for the long video!!
