recommendation for tape in brands?

what is a good brand to buy tape ins from? i bought some on amazon recently, installed them this past sunday, then when i washed my hair this morning they all just FELL out?? i was using cool water and i’ve never had this happen with tape ins in the past. ideally i’d like to have 18” length and have them be blue, but i will dye them if need be. would it be better to have a salon do them for me?
