In need of July Drive-In birdhouse inspo!

I really don’t wanna mess this one up because I love the theme and the items so much! I generally like to mix and match colorways (not a fan of the totally monochromatic look) and my favorite color combo in the world is red and green. Plus I would love to have the classic red car. But so far the only combo that’s working for me is this pink and green. I’m so bad at this, help!!

Why is carbon dioxide so high in my apartment lately?

It’s normal for things to stay within the yellow range but I’ve never seen it go above 1800 ppm until last night. We live in Delaware. We don’t have gas appliances (only our heat is gas but I’m assuming our AC is electric?) We’re heat sensitive people so our central air is always running this time of year (set to auto). We dont have visitors and have been home just as often as usual. The Aranet4 is placed in a far corner of my bedroom, away from where I sleep. I sleep alone and always keep the door wide open. Generally CO2 peaks at night, but truly nothing has changed with our own behaviors. I opened the windows yesterday when I noticed it was 1500 ppm and that brought things down for a while but I was shocked at how high it got last night and now I’m really concerned that there’s something serious going on that I’m missing.

Looking for a simple gusseted cushion tutorial (w/o zipper)

I want my first project to be small gusseted cushions for my cat for our windowsill, which I plan to fill with poly-fil (no zippers or foam needed). Ideally the corners would be rounded too. I figured this would be the perfect first project for me; super easy and straight forward. I bought a patterned fabric for the top/sides, and a solid color fabric for the bottom. I’m trying to find tutorials but all I can find are for box cushions with zippers and I’m getting very overwhelmed trying to follow them. I also tried to wing it but am realizing this is not as intuitive as I assumed it would be 🙃 any help appreciated

ID this cockroach? Northern Delaware, found walking very slowly during the day somewhat near cat food bowls

It’s not running away at all. It’s super slow.

ID please? Located in Northern Delaware. Seen walking slowly on top floor apartment somewhat near cat food bowls

Was so slow it was easy to catch. It’s not even running when we lift the glass we caught it in.

What type of moth is this?

Is it an infesting type? Doesn’t look like a pantry, cloth, OR brown house moth to me but I want to be sure. I saw it flying around an area on my couch where we found parts of broken wings a few weeks ago, and then it flew to the window. But otherwise we’ve never seen anything resembling eggs, larvae, etc. in our home. I think we see these same moths flying around outside at night, too. I live in Delaware.

Help with identifying this moth?

Sorry for the crummy pics. Found in our apartment by our couch, then flew to the window. Do we have an impending infestation on our hands? We’ve never seen larva or moths in our home, except for one time last month when we found what we suspected were small pieces of broken moth wings (also on our couch). This one honestly doesn’t look like a pantry moth OR cloth moth based on photos online, but I’m not sure!

Edit: location is Delaware btw!

Threading: which way is correct?

https://preview.redd.it/v7upixzgd51h1.jpg?width=1640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5b824851f6ba6541877acc75f4eb4b4c31011831

The first image looks more like the guide, but it doesn't feel right. When I pull on the thread from that position, it keeps getting stuck. I've only found one tutorial that shows how to thread the Brother CS7000X from a bird's-eye view. They thread it like the second image, but it looks nothing like the guide.

I am a SUPER beginner, just bought a Brother CS7000X, which only has a vertical pin. I keep seeing people say that stacked thread is for vertical pins while x-wound thread is for horizontal pins, and what confuses me even further is finding a good-sized spool that will actually sit on my machine's pin comfortably without wobbling out of control (I made the mistake of buying a cheap set of thread off Amazon with only 150 yards per spool and such a wide spool hole that winding my first bobbins was a wild, wobbly mess). Please help me find a good quality thread that is designed for vertical pins and that doesn't require an external pin/mug setup! I really just prefer starting off with the pin the machine comes with for now! Links are VERY welcome 🙏
