Well I lied, my first aquarium/ fish which I don’t count was a betta in a small plastic aquarium with fake plants and colored gravel. I had no idea what I was doing and my betta pineconed and died within a month of purchase. That experience sucked and it kept me away from getting another fish/betta for 20years.
But the interest in this hobby never went away. I would lurk in the aquarium, backwater, and betta subreddits seeing all the cool things people were doing and the knowledge you guys were sharing.
Last month I decided to give it another shot by doing the right way, my water perimeters read normal last week but had too much anxiety so kept testing it just to make sure until today.
Seeing my new betta explore his new home I made for him was such a rewarding feeling. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that help me get this far 👍.
I think I’m going to start taking a couple days to a week break every month to reset my ears. I think worth it. I think I haven’t had this much fun or forgot how good my speakers sounded. Put an instant smile on my face :)
Started Raving in LA in 2008 I always used to see shuffling Gumby at beyond wonderland, edc, hard summer and other LA raves. Not sure if all the shuffling Gumby I saw was the same person. Me and my friend would always try to spot him at every festival and every time I saw him he would put a smile on my face lol. Just a random nostalgia that just pop in my head. I hope Gumby is still shuffling out there and doing well ✌️and wanted to let him know, to me he is a legend lol.
In my previous sub position, my sub was able to shake my windows/ walls in my small room, but I missing the physical felling of bass impact.
Decided to try out this placement and I feel like I unlocked the physical feel of the bass, it also fixed some of the muddiness/boom I was getting before.
worth a try…
I was listening to this song and the intro synthy guitar part triggered a memory song from an old game. But I cannot remember what song or what game it was from.
Hi I got my SVS sb1000 pro to hook up with my Wiim amp and Elacs 3.0 db 63 for about a month ago.
The sub adds so much to the overall sound.
But noticed an overall boost in volume as well the highs?
Before my subs I listen to my speakers at anywhere from 45-50%
But with the subs 40-45%
Just wondering if this is normal?
