What have been your outcomes?
I had very bad tendonapthy and had a rupture. Got surgery(debridlement and used donor tissue) and had a rerupture from a fall a week after surgery. I am 15 weeks after the rerupture and doc says I won't regain full strength with a 4cm rerupture. He says try it out and if your happy with the strength you get you can not do surgery. Or do surgery now and stop the waiting.
What were your results from doing surgery or not.
I also have sever mental health issues that are treated and controlled but it was very touch and go at some points in recovery. I don't wanna risk my safety or stability and I'm already having to take steps to not be suicidal after getting the news.
I am weighing: I've already done it once and know what to expect, I have all the tools and lessons learned, and might do better at asking for help this time.
Vs.
I don't think I can manage a second time, it almost broke me. I still have 3 more months of recovery till I can walk normal. And probably 3 more months to be 100% back to normal with the reduced strength. And having to deal with regret of tossing all that progress down the drain. Obesity and severe mental health issues make this more complicated.
Did they take away the options to view images from MRIs, xrays, ect...
I've downloaded full and partial Blue Button Reports and looked under Lab and test results. Idk where else to look.
I had no problem doing this as recently as about 3 months ago.
Anyone else having this problem or am I forgetful and looking in the wrong place.
Update:
I called 877#
And after they put me on hold to check they hung up on me
Called back and eventually found out there are outages and that image services are down for now and no date when services will be restored. Wish they'd make that info public so you don't have to dig for it.
I was on wegovy for aprox 18 months except for 45 days in the middle where they didnt refill my perception and started me over on minimum dose. Starting weight 334. Min weight 317. Current weight 319. Reason stated was becuae I gained weight.
My A1c was 6.4 starting was normally 5.2 during. Idk what my A1c now is. Diabetes was the 2nd reason I was prescribed it.
How do I get my Veterans Hospital doctor to put me back on it. I also ruptured my achilles 4 months ago and I can barley walk. Thats probably why I gained weight.
Are there any life coaches that do apointments at the patients home and offer body doubling?
Forget seeing The Odysse, go see Motor City. If you like 80s Schwarzenegger or Stalone style action movies, this is your movie.
Motor City!
Idk what to do now. I'm almost ready to give up. It wasn't like this a few years ago. Might and Magic 7 broken. It opens to a grey screen when I can actually get it to launch. I was mid game and have already done all the trouble shooting and I dont wanna do it all again.
Reinstalled greyface patch and it works. Windows 11.
Any recommendations for a surgeon that handles 2nd surgery on achilles tendon?
Had a achiles debridlement and transplant surgery with VY incision.
Fell one week post surgery still in splint. Went into shock (nausea light headed, vision distortions). Went to ER, ER doc called surgeon, surgeon said leave it alone.
Surgeon said it was fine at 20 day post op checkup, said maybe the sutures pulled a little.
8 week post surgey checkup, nothing just start physical therapy.
End sesion 15/15 of physical therapy your ankle flexion is the most I've ever seen from physical therapist inspection.
13 week post op, surgeon says tendon is reruptured. No imagery ordered. Says to continue to rebuild strength we will know later on if it was successful. If it isn't successful in 3 months do a FHL repair.
Is it crazy to ask for a 2nd option at this point? I am still reeling with them saying I repruptured. And idk if I wanna wait 3 months to redo surgery. I dont know what to think im confused.
I have gotten zero guidance from my doctor and have done 15 physical therpay sessions. My last PT session I had been off my last wedge for a week. I assumed they were gonna train me how to walk again. But I got nothing. My follow up with my surgeon was pushed back a week and I am all in my head and I don't want to wait a week for answers.
How did you transition from boot to shoes? Did you just decide to put shoes on today and walk with no problems or adjustment?
I can't get it to play.
I've tried greyface patch and not.

I've tried running as administrator.

I've tried every version of windows in compatibility mode.

I've tried different configurations in setup.
Ther dr voodoo pattch doesn't exist anymore.
!!!! Update !!!!
So I completely deletes mm7 and gog galazy from machine.
New gog galaxy.
New file location. My pc/gog galaxy/games
Copied all my other gog games from old gog location and then deleted.
For some reason my mm6 works with out all the doctoring I did to it in the past vanilla.
Fresh download of it.
Back to mm7
Gog was bring a dick about downloading it but finally got it to download to right folder
Only changes made this time(attempt 11 or so)
Comp for win 95 and administrator. Not change settings for all users likewise did b4. Im only user.
But
A caveat. I can only get it to work with mm7-rel.exe
After running mm7 setup. Launching from setup worked only one time.
Launching from setup i had to dick around with it till it finally un greyed out windowed version. Selected that. And used software graphics.
Im afraid to do anything else.
Down the road imma partition pc to diff operating system and try merge and maw over there or wait till my next vanilla play thru or 2 prepares me to go back to troubleshooting hell.
Thanks everyone.
I don't remember them ever doing a "The End" for any of the other animated arcs...

I'm really hoping they animate Iseki Retsu and the Sumo Arc moving forward!

My legs both had a runners injury back in 2012 doing Ragnar del sol. I've basically been reinjuring them and getting in worse and worse shape over the last 14 years.
I ruptured my achilles tendon 1 month after my most recent injury. I injured both achilles and they were inflamed and I couldn't walk except for barley limping around my apartment. I waited 4 days till the pain got down to a manageable level and decided to treat it myself. I did 10 calf raises morning and night and some gentle stretching and no workouts or gym. After 10 days I increased the calf raises. By the end of a month I felt normal again and was up to 40 calf raises. I was gonna start doing one leg balancing for 1 min next and go back to training starting by doing half mile walks. But I decided to make an apointment for physical therpay.
On my way home from making the apointment I snapped my left achilles. My "good leg". Anyways, had achilles debridlement and transplant surgery. I'm 10 weeks post surgery now. I've fallen almost half a dozen times. I had so many days I couldn't balance on my bad leg becasue it hurt and didn't have enough strength.
So physical therpay has been going well. I'm making consistent gains and no pain. But they aren't treating my bad leg, the non surgical leg. They just say you can do the exercises on both legs "if" I want. Thats it. No asssited stretching, no massage, no scraping which they are doing to my surgical leg. No imagery to my bad leg either. The good leg had extreme tendonapathy, lots of calcified tissue and 2 ruptures.
The VA(veteran hospital) just told me to wait till I am complete with my surgical leg before even ordering imagery.
They offer dry needling for 20 dollars at my physical therpaist office. I want to try it but i have no course of recovery for my bad leg. Idk what to do.
I'm like if they could see the imagery wouldn't they be like Holy Shit that leg is barley holding together. We better so something!
Instead I feel like I'm gambling on my bad leg and it's just one trip or fall away from me having to go thru another surgey.
I have severe mental health conditions and I live alone with limited support. I can't go thru this again.
Help.
Any advice is appreciated.
How did you all handle dating while dealing with this injury and surgery recovery?
I basically declared my dating life dead until I can walk unaided. I know that might not have been the healthiest thing to do, but all my mental health resources were dedicated to keeping me stable while going thru this and I didn't have anything left for another person. So in that perspective it sounds healthy, to me at least.
I had other negative thoughts about how am I supposed to attract someone while on one foot. I wouldn't judge someone else as lesser if they were disabled, but I think the world is shallower than that as a whole. Individuals can still shine though.
Now I can walk in my boot unaided and my mental health is better I feel like putting myself back out there.
Anyone else's perspectives or thoughts?
So today I power slept and slept 13 hours. I woke up at 245pm. Trying to figure out how to goto sleep no later than 3am. Usually when I am that rested I have to be awake at least 18 hours minimum to fall asleep again.
So if El Grande Americano beats Original in mask vs mask. He could be jumped by a new masked person (Trento Siete) and betrayed by Los Americanos.
I'm a disabled vet so the VA os paying for all my medical care. I got sent to community care for my surgery because the VA didn't have a specialist for my achiles.
I got a achilles debridlement and transplant.
The doctor said he couldn't do surgery on my haglunds deformity also. He said he couldn't do that much work in one surgery.
How do I believe that when every day people show results of getting that surgery post on here.
The doctor rejected my request for enriched platelet injections also. Didn't offer me any supplements.
So I am in physical therpay at a private physical therpaist across the street from my apartment. They offer all sorts extras massage, dry needling, and like 6 other things. All cost extra. Not covered by insurance.
Am I not allowed that level of care?
I am a disabled vet i cant afford extras.
Is this how we get treated in community care. I dont even know what my expectations should be.
Any ideas on return to yoga? Or legally stretching in general. All the balancing on one leg had my bad leg, the one I didnt injure but has alot of tendinitis also. My bad leg is always sore and tight and feels like it really needs some stretching. I'm 320lbs so all that weight on one leg is kicking my ass. Hoping I can get back to yoga and that usually helps me fix my diet.
