Infected Ingrown toenail advice

Infected Ingrown toenail advice

saw GP about my infected ingrown toenail and am on antibiotics but struggling to lift the nail, how do you do this? GP said it won’t need removal by a podiatrist? I‘m a little doubtful about that as the nail is pretty deep in there. any advice?

Do I reach out ? How to reconnect with old GP (who was like a mentor)

So I have always been a person who loves a mentor and needs stable relationships whether friendships or others even seeing the same doctor etc. I saw the same GP since I was a child for many years they were more like a friend and mentor and they retired back in 2023. Since then I see a new GP but it’s not the same.

Is it weird to reach out to people after a while eg friends, teachers or the GP after a few years ? I assume most would think it’s weird. I have spoken in therapy about it but no one gets that it was like a mentorship. I also don’t have her contact details and wish I could write a letter her to say hi (but ofc no way to contact them to ask for their address).

Apologies if this is plain weird

Advice please

Idk if this is an Autistic thing or what and I trust people will judge me cause it’s the internet but I’ll put it out there anyway…

Sore throat for a week- need antibiotics?

Advice please…

I have had quite a sore throat for around 5-6 days on and off, no other cold/flu symptoms, no cough, fever etc and no pus. Sore throat seems to be getting worse despite pain subsiding briefly for a few days so idk what to make of that. Is it worth seeing a doctor? Not sure if I need antibiotics ir if it’s just a lingering virus. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Sore throat advice

Sore throat for about 4 days. Not I should be concerned, do I see a doctor or ride it out? I also seem to be getting sore throats every few weeks or so… so will need to work out the cause behind that. Any advice would be appreciated. Hurts more than what it looks haha.

Thank you
