african american - ancestry, 23&me and ftdna comparison

pretty standard, all in all. the west african potion on ftdna seems accurate taking into account everything, and ties in with history on where my family is from in america (nigerian is overinflated on ancestry and 23&me). the middle east is interesting, my grandmother had the arabian peninsula on her "hacked" ancestry. but everything else is definitely iffy, especially the british (way too much 😭). 23&me is the only one that has my Iberian percentage where it should be, i just wish they didn't merge the african regions. having done all three definitely gives me a little clear picture on my ancestral heritage. but these test always overinflate british dna (there should be more german and french in the euro category, with like 6-8% being british).

african american ftdna results

don't see a lot, if any at all, african americans taking a ftdna test. the west african potion seems accurate taking into account the trade, and where my family is from. the middle east is interesting, my grandmother had the arabian peninsula on her "hacked" ancestry. the british percentage is definitely wrong. these test always over inflate my british results (they should be at 6-8%).

just the average african american paternal haplogroup

this question is for everyone who identifies as an african american, what are your paternal haplogroups? could mine be an indication of haitian ancestry for my grandfather too (the haitian diaspora isn't mine, just added for reference)?

my nanna's dna results

interesting, didn't know she also had acadian ancestry. i thought that was just from my other parent's side. but it's nice to know the history. it must be so distant from me, because my acadian community is blank. guess both of my parents are half cajun 😭

census taker noted puerto rico, but the dna points towards portugais ancestry (im african american)

im just the typical black american, I wasn't born in puerto rico, so i don't know the history of the place. but, when I was younger my said nana mentioned that she was part venezuelan. a lot of my matches have columbia for their ancestor's birthplace. even then, being of portugais descent is non existent for them, so maybe it's based from what little spanish that i have. 23&me also assigned a country region for Demerara-Mahaica, Guyana. no mention of venezuela, columbia, nor puerto rico. this guy is a brick wall for me 😭. any info would be greatly appreciated.
