Cabergoline and dental anesthesia

A PSA for those on Cabergoline:

If you are taking Cabergoline and get local anesthesia from a dentist, ask what is in the numbing they use. Typically it's lidocaine, but my dentist today uses a cocktail of lidocaine and epinephrine.

Lidocaine blocks the nerves, epinephrine is a vasoconstrictor to reduce bleeding. This is all well and good for those who aren't on a dopamine agonist, but epinephrine and Cabergoline have an interaction and today my blood pressure and heart rate skyrocketed for ~3 minutes. Felt like I couldn't breath and was sweating. It was pretty scary.

I felt fine after about 30 minute and I spoke with a pharmacist and she said it's temporary since its local and didn't seem concerned.

I think next time I'll be ok since I am aware that it'll happen, or I might just ask for lidocaine only.

How to dispose of fish antibiotics in water?

Hi! I have a bachelor's in biology which is why I'm coming to you all with this question! I have an aquarium and one of my fish is currently being quarantined and dosed with 100mg of erythromycin per day in the water. I realize that I have no idea how I'm supposed to dispose of the antibiotic treated water. Normal, non-treated old tank water either goes to my plants or down the toilet.

Since erythromycin is such a potent and broad spectrum antibiotic (which is somehow available on the shelf at Pet Smart) it feels unwise for it to go down the toilet. I remember learning in college micro classes that fish antibiotics contribute to the resistance crisis, and here I am doing exactly that.

Is there a recommendation method of disposal for something like this or recommendations?

Where to find dash cam footage of a hit and run?

Hi all,

My friend was in a hit and run last night at 8:40 PM on the 1-10 freeway near Palm Springs. In some subreddits like r/orangecounty people will post their dash cam footage to help out someone who might have been in something like this. A white Honda was hit by a large dark red car.

Is there a more appropriate place to ask these kinds of questions? A police report has been filed.

Thanks!

Long time lurker, first time poster!

1.5 Sri Lankan Asscher sapphire with trapezoidal baguettes. Cathedral setting on a size 5 finger!

I picked out the stones and setting with my fiance at INTA Gems and Diamonds in Los Angeles. I always wanted a princess cut sapphire and the sales people at INTA were so gracious in explaining that larger princess cut sapphires were difficult to produce since raw sapphires are round. The Asscher cut gave square-like proportions so I was happy with it. I never expected the beautiful heart shaped prongs to make it look more square.

I knew these were my stones when the sales person arranged the three stones in a black display box to show how it would look and my mouth went dry and my palms started sweating. When you know you know!

Do you feel like prolactinoma falls into the category of brain tumor or should be categorized solely as a pituitary tumor since it is located on a gland and not in the white or gray brain matter?

Preface: I have 0 mods and don't play connected to thr internet

My partner told me that if you time travel backwards while having turnips they will immediately spoil. Something about preventing people from finding the best price of the week and going back to that time. But what if you time travel backwards without buying turnips yet.

Let me lay it out:

● Daisy Mae sells turnips on Sunday for 100 bells

● I buy 0 turnips.

● I time travel through the week to see when the highest bell price is. Let's say it is Thursday morning at 150 bells.

● I time travel back to Sunday where I buy 100k bells worth of turnips.

● I then let the game play out (or time travel forward) to Thursday where I sell the turnips at the highest price for the week.

Is this possible, has anyone tried it? I thought of it last night so I haven't been able to test the theory.
