Cross bar delete?

I see a lot of builds remove this crossbar (red). I’m reading that it helps keep the frame from twisting? Since I see so many builds without it, am I safe in removing it? What if I reweld a flat bar towards the end (highlighted in green).

Exhausted every option just to play Black Ops 7...

I have a GA-AX370-Gaming K7 Rev. 1.0 running BIOS F54a with an AMD Ryzen 7 1700X (Summit Ridge).

After updating to the latest BIOS and EC firmware, I am unable to pass the firmware attestation required by Call of Duty's Ricochet anti-cheat. The game reports "Failed Attestation Status - BIOS firmware: Update Required."

I have verified the following:

BIOS updated to F54a (latest as of 4/13/26)
EC firmware updated
Windows 11 Pro (latest updates)
UEFI boot mode
Secure Boot enabled and confirmed by Windows
AMD fTPM enabled
TPM 2.0 present and healthy
TPM Ready for Attestation = True
TPM Endorsement Key (EK) present and valid
Ricochet successfully provisions its TPM AIK key (ActivisionAIK)

The AMD fTPM ManufacturerVersion is 3.8.0.3, which appears to match the affected 3.*.0.* (where "*" is any number) firmware pattern described in AMD Security Advisory PA-420 regarding TPM attestation.

I have exhausted software troubleshooting, including:

Fresh Windows 11 in-place upgrade
Latest AMD chipset drivers
Latest NVIDIA graphics driver
TPM reset/reprovisioning
Battle.net Scan and Repair
Re-creation of the Activision AIK

Despite all of the above, the attestation failure persists. My question is, what workaround is available? AMD offers no resolution and it's been days since I submitted a support ticket with Gigabyte.

Still won't let me play

I have a Gigabyte x370 k7 motherboard and still running a 1080 gpu. I have the latest firmware for bios, i've enabled secure boot and fTPM and yet, it still gives me the error that I need to update Bios and I've failed attestation. I've tried some solutions I found online that other players have had luck with like enabling the CODbroker but still isn't doing anything for me. What am I missing?

Hiatus has ended!

After 8 long weeks of no progress due to engine being apart and in the shop for cerakoting (was supposed to only take 2 weeks…but I digress), we are back! Here’s a mock up of the parts with shiny new bolts. Now we begin the arduous journey of piecing everything back together.

Want y’all’s honest opinion

Am I being irrational? I understand a lot of work go into cerakoting but I feel like I’m being stiffed. I made a post awhile back about being told my engine would take 2 weeks but 7 weeks now and it’s finally complete. Not only that, we agreed on $400 with an up charge for additional cleaning. We never discussed how much that would be but now I got an invoice for $1150.

How long can prepping take?

Honest question, how long does it actually take to degrease, prep and coat something like a motorcycle engine. I contacted a guy who said he could prep and coat for $400 with a 2 week turnaround time which was a big yes for me so I went with him. We’re now 6 weeks in and he keeps telling me he’s still prepping it. It isnt a barn find, it was a running bike so not like it was layered with grime. I included a picture of all the parts. I told him if it’s not done by the end of this week, I’d like to just pick it up as it is and I would compensate him for the work he’s done.

Rebuilding a 1981 cb750k DOHC engine. Swapping the cylinder block with a spare but looks like previous owner went to town with a screw driver trying to remove the gasket. The scratches don’t look deep. Should I resurface or can I fill it in with permatex steel weld on?
