I don't know what's wrong with my head, but here's what's happening: I seem to have chosen a bass I like, BUT a bass that's $50 more expensive but slightly better comes along, and then the same thing happens to it, and the price keeps going up. I'm just fixated on the bass's specs, comparing pickups, wood types, and so on. I don't know if I should just buy a bass that's just visually appealing? I want to forget everything and buy a Thunderbird, even though it's not the most versatile and comfortable bass, as people say online.
