When I got my 3.5 ported it came with two mags, run flawlessly. My friend has a Jacob grey and his came w two checkmates which gave me a malfunction. Cant remember what the malfunction was but it surprised me. Anyone got good recommendations for mags. Mind you i can only have 10rd max.

Picked this platypus up on gun broker. I paid right under 2K for it. It was used and they had a photo of a scuff on the grip, which was not a big deal for me. It came with the Trijicon. Finally came into my FFL and I got my first look at it and there seems to be rust on the rear iron and a weird line mark, my friend says the slide might have cracked and they tried to fill in with some kind of epoxy. Maybe that’s a stretch, but I just wanna know if it’s safe or what this could possibly be? Thanks guys. BTW, don’t have this gun in possession just yet since I’m in New York and there’s a few week waiting period.

I ordered the ndz 12lb spring, online it says it comes with a washer and that it is necessary. Mine did not. Everything runs flawless with the stock spring so I emailed them and they said it’s not in stock, who sends a product out and leaves out “very important” part of it. No idea if it really is needed but I might just stick with stock springs. Do I need that washer? What does it help with? Haven’t shot it yet with that 12lb

Hey, just order the hales cowitness plate for my 3.5 ported, love this thing but I also got tje 3.5 dpm Systems spring setup. Anything to look out for when installing, your opinions, noticeable changes? Thanks guys

Also what is the stock spring weight for the 3.5inch ported

Absolutely love the way it looks, I haven’t even shot it yet and I love it. My only grip is I really wanna co-witness but I only see one plate online for about $150. It looks quality but we’ll see. And the grip feels a little smooth. Would love to get a different grip, but I’m not too sure which one to go with.

Picking up my 3.5 Romulus ported and want to get extra ports behind the front sight, I know I know it’s prob already soft but for aesthetic and it’s cool whatever. I like this style ports but it’s from Skipz guns. I did one search and ppl hate him and his work. Not sure why, but I only see this horizontal line ports from him so if anyone knows where I can get something similar to this or any cool ideas let me know. im familiar with dsc but anything else would be helpful, maybe some v ports like the forza gp 3.1 style but idk. Just ordered the platypus 1911 crowd pleaser v1.
Comes with a classic bush barrel and wondering if a bull barrel conversion is possible for not a crazy amount of money. Mainly aesthetic purposes but just a question. If any online services like shipping out barrel and slides please send links or ideas thank you 👍
