North Americans: Are any of your MTO packages being shipped yet?

I know we'll have to wait months, especially for bigger orders, but I'm curious if early deliveries have started yet.

List Advice Needed

This is what I'm looking to put together for 11th. The nerfs to infantry obviously hurt, but they're still what I *want* to run.

I think between the Hellhounds and the abundancy of orders, I should be doing pretty decent damage, and between Purge and annoying objective takers it should be easy enough to score points. Is anyone running anything similar?

Steel Hammer - Designation Force
Purge the Foe

Lord Solar Leontus
Ursula Creed
Cadian Command Squad
Krieg Command Squad
Tech-Priest Enginseer: Engine Speaker
Stormsword: Battalion Commander

20x Cadian Shock Troops (Creed)
20x Cadian Shock Troops (CCS)
20x Death Korps of Krieg (KCS)
10x Death Korps of Krieg (Leontus)

Cadian Recon Squad
5x Attilan Rough Riders
Hellhound
Hellhound
2x Scout Sentinels
2x Scout Sentinels

Cadian Recon Squad conversions?

Has anyone done them? Does anyone have any ideas? I'd really like to use my metal Vostroyan snipers in the unit, but fear they'll look a little out of place.

Vanguard Spearhead + Saga and Song Theorycraft

I posted in depth about my old Vanguard Spearhead Space Wolves list here previously, but stepped away from the army for quite a while. I got a lot out of writing that post, so I want to do the same here. Returning to the drawing board for VSSW, I think this combo could be pretty decent.

Some take-aways:

Vanguard Spearhead losing the buff to armor saves via the change to cover is pretty rough. Seeing it at 2DP has me disappointed, and wishfully hopeful that they'll re-add it. However, for reasons I'll get into, I think that might be okay.

The previous list really struggled hard when deep strike charges failed. Saga and Song's +1 to charge makes it much easier to charge onto an objective, so the consistency in damage output and points scoring has gone way up. 10 Terminators, probably all with shields, led by Arjac, enhanced to T6 (hopefully the rules allow that, though it's not the end of the world if they don't), is already a hard unit to answer, and a unit that must be answered, but it's also pretty clunky on the board, making the consistent -1 to hit from VS really nice.

The previous list ran a Combi Lieutenant with Shadow War Veteran, a Callidus Assassin, and of course, Logan Grimnar, for an incredible three 12" Vect auras with deep strike on two of them. Combined with Bjorn, this gave a massive advantage, but the nerf to Vect auras is a pretty considerable hit. I don't think it means cutting the Assassin and Lieutenant are fully necessary, though, it for the most part will just mean you have to think a little more instead of letting the auras pull the weight for you.

I think durability will be the name of the game in 11th edition, at least for some of the primaries. I'm a little worried about that, since our main punchers aren't exactly durable. I think the best unit to strike infantry and not immediately die will be 3-model squads of TWC. T6, -1 to hit, and 4W each makes it hard for most infantry to shoot off the board, and the 4+ invul and 12" movement makes stuff like melta guns and plasma pistols pretty inconsistent. I'm drawn to running 3x3, because they're versatile against both T3, T4, 1W, and 2W infantry, and offer a ton of board control. I also think AP will be highly valued, so invuls on everything sounds nice.

Lastly, Take and Hold should be pretty easy to score high on with both WGT and TWC. This is where the VS -1 to hit should really shine. I expect most players will end up putting much more firepower towards each of these units than they anticipate needing to, which is very ideal. Take and Hold also doesn't care about actions, so I'm happy to invest in a lot of tough elite units and skip out on cheap action monkeys. We will see if the secondaries change my mind!

List Fundamentals:

Bjorn, Callidus Assassin, and Combi Lt with Shadow War Veteran. Gaining a command point advantage can quickly tip the scales when your army is generally durable.

Logan Grimnar leading five Terminators with axe and shields. The turn 1 deep strike is absolutely imperative. This unit pretty much camps the centermost objective from T2 onward.

Arjac Rockfist leading ten Terminators with axe and shields. Drop them to charge onto the most valuable objective. Try to force the enemy to charge them by shooting whatever can shoot them dead.

Another five Terminators with axe and shields. Getting another unit to put wherever needed should go a very long way. If Arjac's squad can't be enhanced, this one can be, and should then be used to fight and jail.

Three units of three Thunderwolf Cavalry with shields. I liked starting one of them in reserves and having them arrive on turn 2-4. If we're keeping all of the VS stratagems, the sticky objective trap one is great for TWC to use.

One squad of six Eradicators. They're tough, and a great thing to put behind your Logan unit as insurance.

Some form of infiltrator. I haven't fully decided yet, but it seems very strong to deny certain armies forward deployment. A few missions care a lot about the center objective, so having a buffer of any kind there could deny points.

Tank killers. I'm not sure which I like the most yet, but two Gladiator Lancers or two Predator Annhilators would both do the job. I'm tentative to invest any more than that into one model, because if an opponent destroys your >200pts tank early, the army would have no way to deal with any remaining tanks.

Need help finding bits!

I'm planning a project. I want a heavyset tank commander wearing an undershirt, drinking from a beer mug (glass or wood).

The bits I need are:
- A heavyset undershirt torso
- Arm holding beer mug
- Arm holding a cutlass (were power cutlasses ever printed?)
- A head, preferably with large cheeks and jowls, and a thick moustache
- A bearskin hat—I keep seeing Napoleonic old guard hats used for Vostroyans, does anyone have a link to them?

3D printing is an option, I just have next to no experience finding stuff.

Old Yarrick Claw on New Yarrick?

I was always a huge fan of the old claw. I do not want to pay resale value for a classic model just to get the claw, though.

The new model has a seem on the power klaw that could be a good place to cut off. I think some Tyranids might have a similar claw arm? Is there one in particular that might work well to steal the claw pieces from?

I'd imagine any space marine power fist could work for the rest of it, and attachment points wouldn't have to be perfectly clean because of the new model's pose, I think.

Any other ideas?
