Risotto took a really long time to cool down, wondering if it‘s been warm for too long

So I made myself a tasty zucchini risotto today and i filled it into a few tubs for meal prep, i kept it out for about 45 minutes to cool down and and it was still pretty hot after that (i didn’t have any smaller tubs unfortunately) so i moved them over into the fridge where it still took them another 1,5 hours to cool down and now i‘m wondering if that‘s too long because I‘m really not chill about rice being warm for too long, what do you guys think?

Beginner workout tips?

I generally dislike doing sports and being in pain but i‘m at a point where I recognise that doing nothing all day and eating unhealthy is probably not going to be very beneficial for my health in the long run. I‘m not really looking to build muscle, i‘m more interested in doing something for my heart health and general stamina but I HATE running. I also don‘t know how to time going to the gym with a full-time job and eating proper meals :/

proper enemies to lovers?

I just finished the irresistible urge to fall for your enemy duology and i didn’t expect it to hook me as much as it did, now i‘m looking for something similar. i like that we get his POV and that he‘s a yearner through and through, plus points if they‘re actually enemies and it‘s a good slow burn

Creepy/Horror Podcast with a healthy dose of humor?

I‘ve been listening to CreepCast for well over a year now and at this point I‘m caught up with their episodes and now have to wait for their weekly drops on Sundays, I was wondering if there’s anything similar out there on Spotify? I also really enjoyed the Unwitness Protection Program by JRWI so mabe something along the lines of a Cthulhu roleplay podcast or something could be interesting too. Basically I enjoy a nice deep dive into creepy stories where the hosts take the story seriously (most of the time lmao) but still manage to keep a good balance between the darker stuff and their humor.

Help with copyright!?

I recently started managing the social media for the bookstore I work at and I was wondering how other businesses deal with copyright? I see so many businesses do all kinds of trends and I was wondering how they manage to do that when all the viral sounds aren’t listed as royalty-free? I have some good reel ideas as well but I don‘t want to get my company (and in extension, myself) in trouble by using sounds that i‘m legally not allowed to use, but I also don‘t want my videos to sound like every ad in the history of ever hahah

Suggest me a book with little to no violence and good prose

So I have a customer at the bookstore who has a very specific taste and reads A LOT, and my colleagues and I are running out of books to recommend to her. She is mentally ill which is why the books she reads can only contain very tiny amounts of violence (better if none at all) and she loves cozy stories and descriptions of beautiful landscapes etc. because she can’t travel anymore due to her condition. The prose should have some substance and quality. The last books she enjoyed were Orbital by Samantha Harvey, Sea of Tranquility by Emily St. John Mandel and Anne of Green Gables. She also enjoyed A Winter‘s Promise by Christelle Dabos but ended up DNFing it because it got too violent for her. I‘d be grateful for some recommendations :)

Edit: I‘m still debating whether I should recommend Tress of the Emerald Sea to her but I‘m not sure if the few violent bits might be a bit too much for her

Tips for improving my skills for an event?

So a family member is getting married in August and has asked me to take pictures at the wedding and while I‘d love to do that for them I‘m not really confident in my skills. I take my camera travelling and have shot some beautiful pictures that i‘m very proud of, but they usually happen by chance and not because of my technical skills. Looking back at old pictures I can tell my eye for composition has gotten better but my technical skills are rudimentary at best, which is why I struggle at getting the same results in a curated setting. What do you guys think is the most important thing I could work on improving until August so I‘m a bit better prepared for shooting an event? And most importantly HOW do I improve, I‘d be thankful for some specific exercises

Need movie recs to cure my brain from short form content rot

I noticed recently that I don‘t watch movies as often anymore, and I realized it‘s because my brain immediately dismisses most of them as uninteresting because tiktok etc. is a much quicker dopamine fix. Got any good recommendations I can put in my want to watch list to remedy that?

Songs that sound like you’re skipping down the road

I‘m looking for more songs like

-Colors by the Black Pumas
-Sultans of Swing by the Dire Straits
-The Less I know the Better by Tame Impala
-One of These Nights by Eagles
-High No More by Hajaj

idk how else to put it, the beat just feels like I want to skip instead of walking hahah i hope this makes sense, any idea if that type of beat has a name and are there more songs like that you guys could recommend?

Edit: thank you for all the recommendations, can‘t wait to check them out!
