I stopped by a dealer today for look at a Type S. I was ready to buy. I had the title to my truck with me along with all of the keys.
But when I drove on to the lot I noticed a little something. Every vehicle had a front license plate bracket on it.
Walked inside and sure enough, the Type S already had the license plate bracket mounted on it.
I took a walk around the dealer and left.
I would rather get a ticket than drill into the bumper especially because there are no drill options out there. Why do dealers do this? We bought a new car a few months back for my wife and they simply gave us the bracket.

I happened to look at this type R today. I wanted to give anyone looking at it a heads up that it has been tracked. There was melted tire still all over the inside fenders which makes sense why it is sitting on aftermarket 18s.
It wasn’t a car I was considering but figured I would let you know what I saw.

After trying to figure out what I wanted to replace my Tacoma with I have settled on the Type S. I am an old school import guy from back in the day. My buddy had a 92 or 93 GS-r in teal with the 1.7 liter motor. I loved his car but never had one of my own. I was a Nissan S car guy as well as I have had three VW Corrados.
The last 6 years I have had two Lotus Evoras and a Shelby GT350. I currently still have my pristine Evora S in the garage.

But I need a better daily car and it is clear the Integra is the best fit for me.
With that said any speculation on color choices for 2027? I am hoping ever so slightly that they will rerelease the teal color. With Nissan bringing back green and Ford using their teal color from the early 90s that Acura will follow suit.
Any thoughts?

After many years with this company and working my way up to a director position it has unceremoniously come to an end.
The president of the company for what ever reason had had it out for me from what I have been told. This is truly not a disgruntled employee situation. I had never gotten in trouble and managed our largest account. An account that he could never seem to not be involved in.
4 years ago the guy who hired me was fire by this same president because he butted heads with him. The day that happened I knew the culture was going to start changing.
Slowly the circle became smaller and smaller. Promotions started drying up and everyone had just become locked into the roles they were in.
Him and I had one “conflict” two years ago when I said I needed him to allow me to do my job and not let my account run to him for everything. And eventually that did happen. But outside of that it was the only thing that ever occurred.
But I kept hearing how he wanted to make changes etc etc. but nothing ever happened.
I had one direct employee underneath me who decided to leave three months ago because he wasn’t getting promoted and some pay stuff had occurred. I knew right then I needed to get out. For three months they left me on my own to manage this account. I kept asking for support but nothing was occurring. Frankly I think they were just trying to decide what to do.
But I beat them to the punch. I got a new job and put in my notice two days ago.
I was prepared to reach out to the people I work with on my account thanking them for everything etc. Last night I went to do something for one of my clients and I was locked out of everything. I immediately called my boss who jumped on line and confirmed that the president had all of my access turned off. After hours.
He is a petty, little man. There was literally no need for him to do this. I was prepared to keep things running to the end and help transition whomever was taking over which I heard will be three people. The only positive I can say is I still win. I don’t have to constantly deal with this erratic drunkards behavior any longer.
But he miscalculated something… my clients are still going to reach out to me because of the way this account is. While my direct account knows, the people they support is much more fragmented and they reach out directly to me all the time about various issues. I certainly will put no effort in to getting them the new contact. And if anyone contacts me with a single question internally I will tell them exactly what happened and they should all know the kind of person they work for.

I am very much into hardware performers over DJs or artists to just build tracks in a DAW.
There is something about someone creating the sounds themselves in realtime with hardware is impressive to me. Are there other artists along the lines of DICA out there? I have seen a few like Alex Fain and One Again as well.

I mean of course you can. But here is my story and where this question comes from.
I owned a 2001 986 back in 2011/12. I sold it to buy a dream car, a Ferrari 348.
Well that car lasted a whopping 11 months in my possession before I traded it for something more sensible.
Anyway, the one car I have always missed was my Boxster.
I currently own a 2023 Tacoma and a showroom condition 2014 Lotus Evora S.
I really do not want to get rid of the Evora. It is much easier to buy a truck again than find a 1 of 1 Evora such as the one I have.
I have decided to get another Boxster. I have been looking at 981s and 718s but all of those will require a payment or cash out of pocket. But I started looking at 986s again.
I am not as big of a fan of the 987s but I also have never seriously looked at them. But can someone actually drive an older car like these somewhat regularly? I work from home and travel for work so I don’t need to commute. I have my wife’s vehicle and of course the Lotus. Would you feel comfortable driving a 986/987 as your normal car?

Well as the title says, my Cyclura bit me. She is a 9 year old female and a few weeks ago I was feeding her and went to stroke under her chin and she bit my finger. This time though I did real damage when I yanked back requiring stitches. At first I chalked it up to feeding her at the same time but since then she has turned a little nasty. She has bitten before but it has never been intentional like this one felt like.
I can’t even sit next to her cage currently. She is head bobbing as always but now is doing it with an open mouth and biting at the glass if I put my hand up to it. Just nasty compared to the iguana I have known for 9 years.

I don’t think she is going to lay eggs this year judging by her eating habits. She had a slow down but in the last few weeks her appetite has increased and she is finishing her food off regularly.
I still haven’t removed the nesting box and I confirmed do not have any eggs in there.

I am just at a loss with her right now. I am feeding her before she is awake because she is being such a terror at this point.

Anyone else gone through this? Especially this time of year?

Over two months ago I purchased a Behringer Flow 8 from Chuck Levin off of a recommendation for a small mixer.
It didn’t work the way I expected it to so I returned it to Chuck Levin. With a nice restocking fee on top of it.
It is what it is… except I still haven’t received my refund. I called them a week after they received it and they said they would issue the refund. Obviously that didn’t happen. I filed a claim with PayPal over it and even that is still pending. I have sent over the return tracking info and have spoken with their customer support team twice. Still nothing.
This is the first time I have ever had an issue like this drag out with a company and PayPal before. Over $175.
Shame on Chuck Levin for simply not issuing the refund. Lesson learned, I will never buy from them again nor will I use PayPal for these types of transactions.
