Bought the OnePlus Buds 4. Here are my thoughts…

I got the OP buds 4 a week ago and thought I should share my thoughts here.

Basically I was using wired earphone for over a year which I bought after my last TWS’s battery got depleted. I was quite satisfied with its performance but just one caveat, i had to put my phone on speaker whenever charging it while on call. For solving this issue i bought these OP buds and it had no failed to impress me.

The call quality on this has been great whether I am at a quiet place or at a noisy environment. Just one thing that it changes my voice from natural to little mechanical whenever am at noisy environment. Otherwise there is no issue in picking up my voice even if i speak at lower volumes. There is also dual device connectivity which i haven’t explored yet, but looking at the reviews online i am sure it will come handy as well. Regarding the ANC, it works quite well but doesn’t not completely cut off outside noise. The transparency feature also works well but you won’t be amazed from it.

Regarding the sound quality, I am so glad it has a dual driver setup. The sound here is bass heavy but it never overpowers the vocals as well as details. Comparing it from my iems, those sound like you’re listening to the song at a recording studio, and these buds sound like you’re listening to it at a concert. The bass doesn’t kills the details and soundstage completely, most of it is preserved, all thanks to the tweeters it comes with along with dynamic drivers. Most people with like the sound of these buds imo and for people who likes bass will fall in love with it instantly.

Regarding the low latency mode, i haven’t checked it as i use my wired earphone for gaming. And it also supports LHDC for wireless hi-res audio which imo is gimmicky, but anyway I have an iPhone so I cannot comment on that as well.

The touch controls also works quite well. But i am someone who is constantly fixing my buds fit and during that lots of mis-touch were happening resulting in changing the track/video that was currently playing or switching between transparency and ANC mode so i turned it off after just a couple of days of using it.

Overall I am satisfied with these buds and think that these offer a good value for the money. The looks and feel are premium as well.

Needed a TWS for calling and YTbers recommended this one.

Hope this will serve the purpose well. Kudos to Myntra for delivering it in just half an hour.
