Yndrasta Fast Hammer Army so far (List App Name: ‘Bury the Light’)

To Be Painted: Longstrike and Pallador Reinforcements, Knight Judicator with Griffin Hounds.

Should I add more colors to the army or keep it Batman’s color scheme*?

Was thinking of making the Storm Coven’s capes slightly indigo or purple…

*It was not my intention to do that, but dark knights and storms does lead to certain motifs.

My reinforced Stormdrake Guard are all accidentally colored in Robin’s color scheme for similar reasons.

Anyone have a clear preference now?

Posted the end stage to ask which came out better, and some people didn’t know that there was even a difference. Well…

As in, which one did the paint job come out better on?

One was base coated in black.
One was base coated in white.
Both were painted with the same mix of all colors after that.

The dragons have been relatively fun and easy to paint once a color scheme was chosen.

That slight blue-grey shading on those bird wings, however; madness inducing with the tedium. Probably doesn’t help that one wing snapped off its peg 😵‍💫

I lost the game you see in these pictures, but it doesn’t feel like it.

I didn’t get decimated, and actually got to play the game without being dark mastered out of it.

Didn’t win because I made poor moves (literally) during key movement phases.

Didn’t lose because my opponent also did that too.

I probably painted Vigilors and Questors next. The Vindicators will become the Vigilors defenders.

The Questors are the special forces who use the Stormportal first. The Stormcoven goes with them.

Also Guardus Steelsoul.

Debating if it’s time to paint all the belts and shit or if it’s just time for terrain, nuln, and varnish.

Need to redo the liberator champion. He kind of got owned but the red contrast on his plum.

Now if only I could find another game (that isn’t on a work night).
