Modern day meal plan that works with P90X?

Pretty much done recovering from a knee injury and want to go hard on P90X and core stability exercises the next 3 months. One thing I never got down right was a meal plan. After 20 years, I would imagine there have been better iterations on the original P90X meal plan. Can anyone share with me something that worked for them?

My main goals are to lose 10 lbs and drop a waist size while gaining core strength. I've honestly been really frustrated with my diet, I usually have a very healthy breakfast of 3 eggs + egg whites and lots of protein all day long but at the end of the day with the mixture of kids, social events and the drinking that can come with it it's hard to stay completely clean. I also feel like it's impossible to eat the daily recommended amount of protein on a daily basis. am i thinking about this the wrong way?

Beginner fisher here... What's a good setup for fishing on a Jetty or the beach? Mainly Fluke and Tog

I know almost nothing about fishing gear. went fishing earlier this month at an event and very interested now. Would like to pick something up reasonable for myself. I live at the jersey shore and would be fishing for Tog and Fluke off the Jetty near me. Budget is less than $200. Just want to make sure i'm buying something I can continue to use for a while. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks!

ER605 v2 w/ Omada Controller Help with PiHole

Has anyone successfully had PiHole setup and working with an ER605 v2 Router and OC200 controller? I'm running out of ideas on what I could potentially be doing wrong.

I have a PiHole instance on an LXC Container on a proxmox machine. It's set up and running.

Under Site -> Device Config -> Gateway -> DNS, I selected DNS Proxy -> DNSSEC -> IP of my pihole and saved.

Under Network Config -> Network Settings -> LAN, I select the one and only VLAN i have on my network for now, edit LAN -> Advanced Settings -> DNS Server to Manual and then enter the IP of my Pihole.

Rebooted everything but ads are not blocked on any devices, neither LAN nor wifi. I have my PiHole browser interface open and do see my network devices showing up and hitting it but all of my devices are still showing ads. I've only used the default blocklist. Is the router looking at another DNS server somewhere else as well?

I've set up pihole before at my house (this is at parents house) but I'm not using the ER605.

UPDATE:

I'm not sure what i did but i finally resolved the issue... I rebooted everything including my omada switches and access points, updated the blocklist on pihole by clicking the gravity update button and it finally worked.

The only placed i changed the DNS was under the VLAN DNS Settings under Network Settings..

(Under Network Config -> Network Settings -> LAN, I select the one and only VLAN i have on my network for now, edit LAN -> Advanced Settings -> DNS Server to Manual and then enter the IP of my Pihole.)

KDE Plasma - Network widget says "No Available Connections" but my network card is working fine and i have internet.

Hello,

Debian 13 fairly fresh install here... when I click on the network icon at the bottom right of my screen it shows "No available Connections" however i'm connected to the internet and my NIC shows up when i type in ip -a. also confirmed that NetworkManager is running when i systemctl status it. Did i do something for this to break? only thing i've done was set a manual IP address under /etc/network/interfaces and install docker trying to get pihole running. Is there a way i can get the GUI interface of this kde network interface to start working again?

Currently trying to troubleshoot DNS issues with my pihole setup and just noticed this. thanks

Resolved: had do back out /etc/network/interfaces static ip address assignment and do it thru the NetworkManager UI in KDE.

Anyone use a cr box or a mini cr box for soldering?

I have a bunch of soldering i need to do and was wondering how effective cr boxes are in moving soldering smoke away from me while doing it. I know setup would be weird but I would try to have a small 12 inch cr cube aimed at a window as well as being on the table.

I have an inflatable ring pool now. Would like to get something bigger, but still easy to disassemble and store

We live with our mother in law for 2 months in the summer. Right now we have an Intex easy set 14 ft knock off from lowes with the inflatable ring. Our kids are getting a little bit older and would like to move up to a bigger size pool. My biggest requirement at the moment is that we need to disassemble and store the pool when we leave. I see that there is one bigger size intex easy set pool that is 18ft x 48 inch deep which will fit the bill

My question is about the other lines of pools such as the prism frame or xtr frame. are those much heavier and is storing them in a kit shed not feasible?

My inflatable pool is on 2 sheets of insulation on top of gravel. it's still very inviting and fun to be in lol and has survived 3 seasons.

Eye allergies in coastal areas / Jersey shore - what could it be lol

This has been affecting me since i've been coming down here for 20 years. I've been living at the jersey shore all summer on LBI and my eyes have been KILLING me. they get super itchy, and i want to rub them but try very hard not too. but if i rub them they get super itchy and give me super temporary relief then kills me. I will usually do a hot compress on my eyes twice a day to make it managable. zyrtec doesn't do jack.

What i've noticed is that when i'm in the non-coastal areas my eye irritation all but goes away. I work all the way in camden county and have been commuting there. sometimes i'll stay there overnight and my eye allergy goes away till i go back to the shore.

Is it the pine trees, dune grass? Just trying to get help in narrowing this damn allergy down.

Got a base model 330i as a loaner while my i4 was getting a state inspection done

Took my car in for a state inspection and got a 330i as a loaner. my first experience with the current gen 3 series.

After driving my i4 for a few months, i don't know how anyone in their right mind would purchase a base 330i over an i4. the engine feels anemic and the nvh felt almost as bad as my 2008 Acura TSX 6MT. at least with the 340i you're getting a much more power but I feel like EV's in general are the way to go over any basic ICE vehicle.

This panel needs to be upgraded, right?

This is the panel of my parents house. They asked me to help them coordinate a new minisplit install in their house and this was the first thing I looked at that made it seem like this wouldn't be an easy job.

What are my options here besides getting a new box installed? I'm assuming this is what a 100AMP box looks like or even smaller. Would a subpanel even be viable?

I briefly read about tandem breakers or pigtailing existing circuits but that seems extremely janky to me.

House is from the 1970s in pa suburbia.

Sandisk Warranty - They gave me 2 shipping labels and only one is being tracked

RMAing a western digtial blue sata ssd m2 drive...

Went thru a chat agent to get my RMA processed and they provided me a UPS shipping label to pack my RMA with and ship back. see that was received by "DOCK" on the 14th. it's the 25th now and i go to check for status on that package and now see that there is ANOTHER USPS label, not UPS that is tied to my RMA.

WTF?!

I pressed the "escalate" button with my RMA information and noted this discrepency. has anyone else experienced this kind of mix up on sandisk warranty and more importantly are they going to say they never received the package now? the original UPS label is literally in the chat history and it is shown as received so i can't see how they can dispute that. smh. I'm not in a rush but this is a hassle. this cheap $50 HDD back in the day is now over $250 to purchase new ugh.

Trying to build a PC with leftover parts. Can i install RAM Modules on slots 1 and 4? heat sink not fitting HP Prebuilt. other options?

Long story short-

HP Prodesk G6 SFF - intel 10th gen i5-10500- got for cheap on ebay.

2x8GB ddr4 modules from an old skylake build i want to move over to this HP machine but it's Gskill Ripjaws with some tall heat sinks, and I can't get the POS HP chassis to close with these chips in slot 2 or 3. Would I still be able to get dual channels if i install in slot 1 and 4? I'm guessing the answer is no, but i'm starting to regret my purchase now lol. Would a better option I guess be remove the heatsink on the one module, or maybe even grind the top part off carefully? ( Does warranty really even matter at this point? it's 10 year old memory but still works great and memory is a shit ton of $$$ which is why i'm even going down this path at this point, i dont think its gonna randomly die)

update: i'm able to fit both modules in slots 2 and 4 by flexing some of the metal hinge that comes down. but now i'm not able to fit a 3.5" HDD in the area where it's supposed to go because of the memory clearance. Kind of blows up the purpose of this system. I might need to find like an e-sata adapter or something to run this drive. ugh!!!!

Carrier 24VNA9 not cooling. No capacitor to check right?

One of my outdoor units doesn't seem to be working at all. Tried flipping the breaker and resetting the thermostat no luck. Opened up the panel and there doesnt seem to be any capacitor to inspect. Anything a homeowner can do to diagnose this? Don't have anyone coming till next wed. It's a carrier 24vna9 variable speed unit.

Other unit thankfully is working fine.

update 1:

after putting everything back together and putting the outdoor breaker back in, it seems to be working again but i feel like it's a matter of time before this happens again. this is the second time in the last 3 weeks that this has happened. Where we would flip the breaker, wait for about 30 minutes, and it would start working again.

Update 2 Finally found the last 10 events page and I'm getting a 41 blower motor fault code

Which Reolink Cameras can i mount on a tripod?

I want to purchase a few reolink POE or powered cameras to temporarily mount on tripods to face the various areas on the perimeter of my house to see where pests are getting in. I have the ability to temporarily run cat6 cable to these cameras or standard 120v power to them as needed. What's a good model to get for this purpose that I can easily mount on tripods? I would then repurpose these cameras for around my house after this is complete.

Thanks for your replies below, I just need to get creative with some wood on a tripod! i picked up a pair of RLC-520A's and splurged on a 823s2 for some nature viewing once this task is complete.

Why the fuck are dealers so goddamn aggressive to me on FB marketplace!?!

I'm listing a run of the mill SUV as a private seller i'm trying to get rid of for 25k and I get a ton of asshole dealers that are straight up rude and aggressive. Most of the time it's some flavor of "you're listing it way too high. best you're gonna get is 17-18, i'll buy it from you". sometimes in a much more aggressive way "youre out of your mind" kind of deal. Even when i tell them that carvana is offering me 20k they are telling me that i'm full of shit, etc...

no matter how many times i have in my listing that says no dealers i get reached out by these assholes. Look at their profile and they have like 20 cars listed at what looks like a lot. any way to avoid these assholes besides blocking them or is it just the reality??

Also I know i'm not gonna get 25K for this car, I pretty much placed it on the lower end of comps on auto trader and cars for my vehicle just bc i'm a private seller but if i get a few k above carvana then it's worth my time and effort i think. Is my pricing strategy that unrealistic?

Grizzl-e Duo Hardwire - quick tips

I just DIY'ed installing an EVSE last night and opted to go with the Grizzl-E duo. This didnt seem to have the lug issue that I read in other threads about Grizzl-e's in general and was able to use lugs from the electric supply store. I opted to hardwire it with 6 gauge thhn with no splits the entire way back to my breaker. I used 3/4" liquid tight to go to a junction box which then went to 1 " EMT around my garage, which then went into 1 1/4 FMC through my walls, through my floor joists across my house to my breaker.

one thing that was a pita for me was the locking ring for the 3/4 liquid tight connecor i used inside the box was about 2 mm too thick and i could not tighten the hose. I ended up having to use the original supplied locking ring for the supplied whip. I could have ground it down or something i guess.

I am finding tons of CPO vehicles in CA that checks all my boxes, but wondering if it's feasible for me to fly out there and drive this car back to PA? I feel like stopping every 220 miles to charge it 30 minutes would get old, fast

I'd much rather do the shipping route but just wondering if that was an option.

Thanks everyone for replying. I dont think i'll have the time to make that trip so if i do find one on the west coast i'll be shipping it.
