Hey all as the title says, I’m looking for a decent server to start on, whether it’s newer or older. I’ve tried a few servers so far but haven’t found one I enjoy, everything’s just been p2w and I just don’t like that.
Wife’s been wanting ducks for a while, we live on a farm and have a pretty decent sized pond for em. She agreed that if she got ducks she wouldn’t fuss at me for fishing all the time lol.
This was the only one who wasn’t scared of me and walked right up to me. Therefore he has been deemed Quackie Chan.
Missed 3 and caught 2. Still not the best ratio. But it beats missing them all.
Mainly asking this because I’ve been watching a lot of tournament fishing and just bass fishing videos in general and they all seem to boat flip bass around the 2lb mark. I net almost every bass I catch unless it’s tiny. Every bass I’ve caught that’s been like 2lb+ I’ve netted.
Never been good at bass fishing, got into fishing like 2 years ago. Started with ponds then got myself a boat last year. Mainly targeted crappie but I’m trying to learn how to bass fish now.
Anyone have any decent football/flipping jig brands they’d recommend to buy from? Getting into bass fishing and I’d love to stock up on some tackle. Also looking for any hooks you’d recommend for soft plastics and swim bait jig heads.
After i scooped it up, the other side of the fish looked normal. But this side was awful. Released it back, it swam down towards deeper water and a few mins later we found it again, just swimming slowly near the surface.

I have no clue what I’m doing wrong. Between Friday-Sunday I had close to 35 bites where they’d be swimming off with the jig but I ALWAYS missed the hook set. It’s like I’d rip it out of there mouth everytime and I have no clue if theirs any tweaks I should make. Caught 2 bass. 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday on jigs.

I’ve got an auto loan for around 41k, 15.24% interest rate. Payment is $840 a month. Due to the interest rate, I already owe more on it than the vehicle is worth. Would it be worth it to make extra payments towards the principal to where I could sell the truck or refinance it? Or should I just continue will the regular monthly payment? My wife and I have argued about this several times and I’m just not sure what to do here. In my eyes it’d be worth it because either way I can end up with more financial freedom within a year whether I sell it or refinance it from extra payments, but my wife fears I’ll just be throwing money down the drain.

Got myself into a pickle with a pretty dang high truck payment, shouldn’t have took the trade in. Now I’m stuck with a high payment and want to get rid of the truck but need to pay off about 6k of it. Would I be better off on making extra payments monthly or saving up my money and making one big payment?

Loan origination was July 10 2025, interest rate is 15.24%, monthly payment is $839.61. (Should never have gotten the truck, seen a nice truck and I was stupid and signed the paperwork for it)
I just checked the banking app and I’m so confused. The loan origination amount was $42,784.65, I’ve made $6,779.61 in payments and it says I’ve accrued $2,651.36 in interest year to date. My current balance on the loan is $41,155.97 but when I check all the math on it, wouldn’t the balance be $38,656.40? Am I just missing something here or not understanding all this? Is this something I need to call the bank about and dispute it with them?

Hey all, I’m wanting to get started just making reels and shorter vids like 15min max of just when I go out fishing n all that. Currently I only have an iPhone 15 I could record on. Would that be good enough to start out with? Assuming I’d need like a tripod or maybe a chest mount type of thing? I’d probably stick to TikTok starting out and possibly YouTube if I could figure out editing n all that.

Hey all, I’m getting ready to start night fishing for bass. Do yall have any brands you’d recommend for black lights to put on my boat? Not really sure what I should be looking for. Got a smaller boat it’s 16’8, wanting to have lights atleast on both sides on the front and back for me and a co angler.
