Cars and their stupid bright dash clusters + screen

Poor grab driver is fully illuminated with his screen and meter cluster.

It's a Proton Persona.

And that reminds me that I drive a Saga MC3 with blinding dual monitors.

Oldschool Elecom Huge wired. Worth?

Saw one selling within my budget range. Needed a replacement when I wait for my ploopy parts.
Should I get it knowing the ruby bearings is a risk. It's gonna stay planted in the office forever anyway.

I've always wanted the Huge and now the plus existed. But wow the plus costs a bomb RM680 vs wired Huge which is RM265 (Same price as my ploopy)

Anyone know where to source the clips for these aiaiai headbands?

I'd like to reuse the aiaiai headbands but the AliExpress clips suffer the same breaking point. Where can I get the clips or if possible the stl file for 3d print?

Thanks in advance!

It's no longer a Grado

Tldr blew my age old Alessandro MS1i from a faulty DAC. Was kinda sad but moved on. Found some interesting AliExpress 50mm drivers and fitted it in along with a 3D printed shell.

Overall a thicker body profile with darker sound. Waiting for my new stock of G-Cush to elevate the highs.

Clones with white grille sounds like the real deal?

I got tired of breaking my Portapro and ksc75 due to my clumsiness. They both break from me accidentally stepping on my wires smashing them on the floor.

Thought of giving these clone diy Portapro drivers a try. I had to say they're suspiciously similar sounding to my portapros? Equally thick midbass and crispy highs.

I was expecting a teeny sound or a bloated mudbass but this is as accurate as I remember my portapros sound like?

Just sharing my joy. And I paid 1/4th of the cost.

New Saga MC3 Premium owner. Why is my car going paranoid whenever bikes zoom around me?

Hi I'm not sure how to explain this. I'm just stuck in jam, creeping slowly around 15-20kmh in federal highway and bikers will split lane like crazy fast 50kmh and above beside me.

Whenever one gets too close to me my car will BEEP BEEP and then rapid double signal like some crazy warning for a short period of time.

The double signal flashes faster than usual.

What's going on? I don't even know where in the manual says this.
Is it the rear collision thing activating? I'm so fresh to all these safety warnings that my car kept blinking from all these speedsters.

How do you EDC a big bottle such as a Nalgene 32oz every day?

I'd like to know how people carry a huge bottle every single day. I know I can just use my hand and hold it daily or a bottle sling.

But I always carry my mirrorless camera along wherever I go in my Ulanzi BC08 so there's that tight fit. What's a good suggestion/idea on arranging my stuff?

Edit: Seems like everyone is suggesting a change from a sling bag to a backpack. I'm not sure if I could commit to a backpack but thanks everyone for the suggestion.

0:35sec is the incident.

Sorry that I couldn't get anyone's phone number (both biker victim and car driver) but I hope this footage will help you two.

It seems like a series of blindspots hitting blindspots.

Right after the crash I was behind pointing the flashlight as the intersection is quite a blindspot.

Sorry for terrible dashcam footage 🥲.

I can't even see the number plate myself.

Am I part of the gang?

Kinda cute. But I'm surprised they pack each bottle in a box individually rather than like common shrinkwrap and bulk packaging.

It's giving me a Walmart pool noodle situation but I'm not complaining here.

New bearings!

Got my new bearings from a shop that sells fishing supplies!

Seller claims that these are "boutique" and has a tight tolerance of 0.005mm. Handles RPM up to 6000RPM WOW.

Does it even matter in an Adept? I don't know haha.

My fairly new stock Adept bearings feels crispy and I didn't like it. Swapped to these and it does eliminate the crispy feel.

Definitely felt more sluggish too. It's probably the thick grease used in the bearings (Or the stock bearings lacked grease).

Well I'm glad this is fun to use now!

Was chilling and waiting for the red light but wow this comes with headlamps pointing in reverse?

The yellow lights turn on whenever the driver steps their brakes and shines at my eyes.

Woah super bright weh 8am morning light can never fight this.

Is this normal or does someone turn on the fog lamp?

Trying out something. I have these montigo lids and straws. (They're hydro flask compatible lids).

Basically humangear capcap upgrade done here.

It feels great to drink and much more hands free.

Now I wonder if it's worth the effort to clean 2 more items compared to stock nalgene?

I'll find out about it after using it for a month 😬

So I just received my Adept and I REALLY LOVE IT!!!

But I do need the wrist rest.

https://github.com/PurpleCatGirl/Ploopy_Adept_Mods/blob/main/Ploopy_Adept_Wrist_Rest.stl

I commissioned someone to help me print this.
Turns out the stl provided didn't really fit too well. It has a 4mm gap in it and that bothered me haha.

I'm no expert in editing stl or 3D print but I did printed this wrist rest and was surprised at the gap.

Just wanted to share my discovery. I guess it was mentioned somewhere but I don't seem to find this issue posted anywhere.
