Just got a notification from our work HR app that someone gave kudos for a project going live. Especially stung because it was a project I flew across the world for this time last year and was supposed to be one of the leads on, but I got sick as it kicked off and now it’s all done without me 🥲

This illness is horrible for so many reasons but things like that are so crushing and now I’m crying alone thinking about what would have been if this never happened

It really grinds my gears when I’m listening to debriefs on TikTok and people mispronounce their names, like saying Kavan like ‘Kay-van’ and Mica like ‘Mike-ah’

I don’t really get how it happens because it’s not like they’re characters in books where you can misread it, they’re on TV we hear their names said all the time!

Having a nightmare in London atm, our local depot has had the parcel for days and said they’d deliver on Monday. Didn’t get a delivery slot so rang up and they promised it was coming on the 2nd run of the day. Never got a slot and saw it was delayed by a day; and the same thing’s happened today (spoke to person at depot, promised first run, then promised second, now phone lines are closed and must be delayed to tomorrow).

Did ask if we can just go pick it up but they said no.

Another item arrived at the same depot yesterday and came today early!

We can call tomorrow but not sure we have any actual options aside from waiting and seeing.

I’ve been experimenting with chrome on reg polish and it’s working up to the water-based top coat over chrome (I’m using piggy paint as its limited options in the UK!).

But when I go to seal it all in with a regular top coat (Essie gel couture) it cracks. I’ve tried just waiting for it to feel dry, then I tried several mins with a blow dryer on cold - how is everyone else doing it??

I don’t feel like I can leave it overnight on my hands since I need to wash them quite often

I’ve been signed up to Complete Savings for years, but I signed up with Trainline when I used to visit my boyfriend long distance a lot. Since he moved to my city I’ve just been wasting my monthly bonus for a few years now - I was spending enough to still get a net positive, but I’ve recently got ME/CFS and off work so spending has cut and that’s no longer the case!

I wanted to switch to NX Rewards since I’ve seen on here you can get the monthly bonus back from any partner, and the rest is the same.

However - just spoke to them on the phone and they said every membership is different and you can’t always claim it back??

I found a sign up link on another thread but in reading those membership terms, there’s no mention anywhere of the bonus / being able to claim anything back.

Can anyone help? Much appreciated!!

I did ask Complete Savings to close my account but that won’t go into effect til 4th June so I might call them and see if I can undo that decision, if NX Rewards won’t let me claim back the monthly bonus anyway.

Re-watching and noticing that the song playing in S2 when Jeremiah and belly kiss on the car has changed - it’s not Beyoncé ‘XO’ anymore but some random other song
