Out of all the games I've played using the OG Slaves to Darkness box, I've always gone with the Fierce Conquerors regiment ability. Just to mix things up, I thought id gjve the Dread Banner a go. However I just wanted to check, as it doesn't have the (Army) in the title of the ability, can I roll for Eye of the Gods for both Warrior units or is it just one?
The wife and I are heading to Japan next month for our belated honeymoon and she's kindly agreed that we should check out the Tokyo Warhammer store whilst we're there.
I thought it would be awesome to pick up a cool centrepiece model to build out the 1,000 points I currently have but also more importantly as a memento of our trip!
The models i currently have our the original Spearhead and a Chaos Sorcerer Lord and a unit of Chosen.
Im currently thinking a Lord on Daemonic Mount would be the best way to go, but as always with the S2D range, everything is so cool it makes it hard to choose!
I always run one squad in my list but I've got another 5 man unit still on sprue from the old DA combst patrol that I should really build and paint. Has anyone had much success from running two 5 man units or is it diminishing returns?
Picked up the S2D Spearhead at the start of the year and slowly building/painting more to eventually hit 2,000 points. I now have about a 1,000 points in my collection and was thinking of looking into playing a proper game of Bigmar to learn the advance rules but considering how swingy 1,000 points can be, would 1,500 be a better one to aim for?
And god damn did i almost tear up. I really hope this album gives them the outlet they need to process their grief.
Have only played Spearhead but have been toying with the idea of making the leap to full AoS at some point. Having played 40k for a while now I've found that 1,500 is my preferred points limit. High enough to bring a decent amount of units but not as overwhelming as 2,000.
How's this as a list? Wondering if i should change the Varanguard to a reinforced squad of Chosen instead?
