Made a physics brawler where cats ragdoll and bomb each other off the map

A chaotic physics party brawler where roly poly cats ragdoll and bomb each other off the arena. Solo or up to 8 players, 20+ arenas, plus single player and horde. Made solo in Godot. Still polishing for an early access launch, would love any feedback :)

Firs time dev, Is launching during the Steam Summer Sale actually suicide?

First time solo dev. My cat sumo brawler isready and the Summer Sale to Jul 10. Half the internet says NEVER launch during a big sale, you get buried under discounted AAA games and nobody buys full price new stuff. Other half says the traffic is so huge it doesnt matter. So whats the truth? Did anyone here actually launch during a Steam sale? Did it help or kill you?

First time solo dev, is making the game actually easier than marketing it?

Just finished my first game solo, a cat sumo brawler. Honestly the coding and physics were the fun part. Now I'm staring at trailers, store pages and marketing like... this is hard. Solo devs, did marketing hit you this hard too? how did you get your first players?
