Is this a brake mount hiding under the paint on my Giant Track fork?

Hey, just got my hands on a 2005 Giant Track Team frameset. From the listing photos I was pretty sure the fork had a front brake mount.

Just received it and there seems to be something under the paint, could be a genuine brake hole or ?. I've seen several builds on Pedalroom with front brakes on the same model, so I'm assuming it's drilled but I can't tell for sure without going through the paint.

Anyone familiar with this?

I swear Frutiger Aero memes are underrated...

I'm in urgent need for Frutiger Aero memes for my... insatiable satisfaction of sub cultures. Does anyone has some of high quality FA memes in their pockets to share?

Y2K transparent PSP shells are having a massive comeback

Saw a bunch of these popping up on Etsy and Depop lately, here are some of the cleanest combos imo. Which one did you have?

Made This Skeuo Walkman Design for Desktop, Thoughts?

This is entirely made the old school way, by hand and with CSS. Called it r/ResonanceApp if anyone's curious.

My friend and I plan to make a huge design update, would you call this proper skeuomorphism? Any suggestions, critiques are welcome.

Made This 2000s MP3 Walkman for Desktop, Feedback?

Hey, got fed up with how everything looks now so my friend and I made a local desktop player with a skeuomorphic design. It might please some Frutiger lads eyes here.

Made This 2000s MP3 Walkman for Desktop, Feedback?

Hey, got fed up with how everything looks now so my friend and I spent a few months building a music player from scratch.

This is entirely made the old school way, by hand and with CSS.

It's a local desktop player with a skeuomorphic design. It looks like something from 2004 and that is the whole point. Called it r/ResonanceApp if anyone's curious.

Nobody talks about how good old media players looked

iTunes 4, Winamp, Windows Media Player. Everything had texture and personality. You could tell someone actually sat down and thought about what a button should feel like.

Flat design won but I'm still not over it.

Anyone else miss this era of software design?

Remember when listening to music was just... listening to music?

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. Back then you'd spend an afternoon just sorting your music folder. That was the hobby. You knew your library like it was yours because it literally was.

Now I open Spotify and just stare at it for 5 minutes and put on the same playlist again.

I got fed up and built a little music player that works like the old ones did. Local files, no account, looks a bit like something from 2004. Called it r/ResonanceApp if anyone's curious.

What did you guys use back then? Winamp crew or Windows Media Player?

Anyone ever played Mirror's Edge? I swear, this was a blast every time I launched the game. It felt like it would be the future, but I feel we went only backward up until now. Maybe it's the cleanliness, IMO nothing is missing from this design.

Rally Championship Xtreme is one of my childhood video games. I spent so much time on this one, but totally forgot the menu designs. These look great, not to modern standards, but there's definitely something special about them.

The SFX as well, aged like milk but taste like wine to me.

Might get some inspiration from it for the design of our free music player Resonance.

Wanted to share onionboots's take on the 00s web revival. He became a real hero overnight for making this video, it’s truly showing that there are a ton of people like us into this vibe.

If you haven’t seen it already, go and watch it.
