This morning I installed Kodi's jellyfin plugin using the online JF docs. Its up and running and I'm enjoying a cup of coffee with some Jellyfin goodness and my favorite clone Sponge Bob...

What size for TF1 / OS SD card

I want to split out my r36s O/S and games to different cards. I have a 16G card available for the O/S but I am wondering if this will be big enough for a dArkOS install. I'd also like to be in a position to try Android sometime in the future. Your thoughts appreciated.

No Sound on dArkOSRE

I successfully installed dArkOSRE_version R36_trixie_03082026 on a R36S clone G80CA-MB V1.3-20251212, however there is no sound. Any thoughts about what might be causing this? So far the information I am finding on google / ytube does not seem to apply.

Update: Discovered sound works on the original installed version ArkOS 2.0(04242024)(AeUX). Still something that can be fixed or should I plan on installing the previous version from scratch.

Remap Portmaster Emulator Buttons

I want to remap A and B keys for port games. I am able to remap for the system as well as other individual emulators. I am researching port emulator but so far I am just finding differing recommendations for editing config files. Are there any specific recommendations that could be followed?

Handheld Primarily for Retro Emulation

I have come to enjoy retro games (primarily GBA, Genesis) on my PSP. I find myself playing these more than PSP games some days. I am concerned about wearing out an old device unnecessarily. As a result I am shopping for a handheld ($50-$100 max) for these low requirement games (i.e. no N64, Dreamcast, etc.) What are others doing to save their PSP's from unnecessary wear and tear? Are there other specific devices / models you have selected for this and why? Sorry if too off topic but fellow PSP fanatics opinions and experience are what I am interested in.

Request To Confirm R36H is genuine

I just received my R36H from BOYHOM today. I wanted confirmation that this is legitimate and is going to work with dArkOS. The device menu (emulation station?) looks different than all the videos I have been viewing but this might just be the theme being used.

PSP / CFW compatibility issues

I have a CFW modified CECHL01 console. It plays PS3 and PS2 games well, however the PSP games do not start consistently. Approximately half of of the PSP games stop at a black screen after launch and sometimes even lockup the console.

I have around 150 PSP game iso's. All play well on a PPSSPP emulator and a PSP 3000 handheld, but not the modified PS3. Is this expected behavior? If it is would there be a compatibility list for what works so there is no need to test each game?

64G vs. 128G Memory Stick

I am currently running out of room on my 64G memory card and am considering an upgrade to 128G. I need the space but not at the expense of a reasonably smooth running console. Right now with the 64G card fully loaded it takes a few seconds to load. Will this time be doubled if I double the size of the card? I just want to get an idea whether it would be best to do that or to just use two 64G cards and swap them out as needed. Just trying to decide which will give better performance.

Update: Per the recommendations I will get a 128GB card to install and configure the "game categories lite plugin" to speed up file reads. Read excellent detail below.

All ISO files in PSPISO do not show up in XMB

I have around 120 iso files for psp games weighing in at around 100GB. I am using the PSPISO folder on an external NTFS drive. I first scan using the "prepare xfat/ntfs drive" utility and then refresh webman games and xmb. However only 48 titles maximum show up in the webman mod game folder. The remaining titles do not show even with repeated scans.

I have PS3, PS2, and PSX games setup the same way and it is working as expected in the same NTFS drive so it seems unlikely its a drive issue. I have tried creating the folder from scratch and just adding 10 titles to the folder at a time but the most that will populate are (around) 48 max. I would prefer to not have to curate a list of my known favorites if possible. Thanks for any suggestions

I would like to be able to hook up a psp 3000 to a monitor and play with a BT controller on a big screen. The monitor seems easy enough with a composite or hdmi adapter, but is there a recommended adapter / method to hook up an external controller?
