Cant shift into neutral at a stop

Hi, I have a 2017 honda MSX. And recently, I've been having trouble shifting into neutral when the bike is at a stop.

Usually, it either shifts up to second only, or I can't move from 1st gear at all when the bike is at a full stop.

I'll turn off the bike, and it will shift into neutral easily.

I've tried adjusting the clutch and it seemed to help a little bit. I also noticed that it started happening a few weeks after getting an oil change.

It doesn't happen all the time, but it's a bit inconvenient, and I'd love to know what else I can do to trouble shoot it.

Thanks for reading

Removing Honda MSX SF panels

Hello,

My Honda MSX 125 2017 is getting a new ignition barrel and lock set.

I'm trying to take off the side panel to change the seat lock, and these screws are giving me a bit of trouble.

The screws are little stripped. Bought it recently, and I think it had been sitting for some time before then.

Any idea how to remove them?

I've tried JIS screwdriver, and letting penetrating oil sit around the screw head over night.

Thank you.

Moving out of condo. Landlord wants to deduct additional cost from security deposit.

Hi,

I'm wondering, does this sound like normal additional move out costs?

I've been living in Chiang Mai for one year, and yesterday I moved out of my condo.

The lease agreement procedure is as follows: I gave the landlord a 22,000 baht deposit. At the end of the lease, they will deduct 2000 baht for a cleaning fee of the condo/Aircon.

I am in a line chat with the landlady and the agent. Today, the agent sent me a photo of a mark in the toilet bowl, saying that the cleaning lady can't get it out, so they may have to charge an additional fee. I'm so confused. The mark is so small. From what I understand, this is normal wear and tear?

The agent also added that the trashcan lid is broken. And because it is specific to the condo, they may have to charge me to replace it. I tried to explain that the trashcan lid was broken upon arriving at the apartment. There is an automatic opening feature where the trashcan lid will swing open when I open the cabinet. However, this feature never worked. I took a photo, but at the time of moving in, I did not realize it had this feature so I didn't document it specifically. However, I believe the lid did come off while I was living in the condo.

I sent photos of the trashcan that I took upon move in showing that it was not working properly then. The agent sent a photo, showing that it was working, however I have a feeling the photo was taken prior to my move in date because some items in the picture do not align.

Sorry for the long post, I would love if anyone can offer advice or opinions on how to communicate with my agent /landlady.

Thank you for reading.

Possible to live in Bangkok while ED visa is through a school in Chiang Mai?

Hi guys, I have an Education visa through a school that is based in Chiang Mai.

They offer online and in person classes. I have already studied with this school previously for one year and now I have just been approved for a second year.

I am based in Chiang Mai and while I love it here, I am starting to think that perhaps moving to Bangkok might make more sense.

I'm wondering if it is possible to hold an address in Bangkok while your school is based in Chiang Mai? Will it raise red flags at immigration?

Any advice, comments are appreciated.

How long did it take to get your first paid session?

Hi, I started tutoring a couple weeks ago, and I've had a couple people book a free trial right away. Initially, it was exciting. Now I'm wondering if it's worth it to keep tutoring free trials. It's a bit discouraging to tutor for almost a full hour and not get paid.

I'm wondering how long it took for someone book a paid session? Is it worth it to continue with the free trials?

Thank you.
