Should I remove them? Should I add more, smaller knots?

In my head, I imagined making everyone (37+/- people) custom first initial Christmas ornaments, and I thought variegated floss & a funky font would do some heavy creative lifting.

I did some practice and they just feel kinda … hokey? Even tried some beadwork for the first time and don’t really love it.

Any advice on which of these is best, or how to make these more impressive? Thanks!

Photo 1 will be my OOTD but I need something to stay warm in before/after my tattoo appt. Rest of the photos feature the big cardigans I own. Will any of these work? Or do I need small sweater to go with small shirt? Thanks for your consideration!

Unfortunately we’re pretty limited: can’t paint, landlord prefers we don’t hang anything on the walls, cat loves eating plants, and she’ll tear up the bordering carpet if we put a rug down.

Feels like a grey Facebook-marketplace-hodgepodge blah sort of space. Comfy enough just the two of us, but the flow of the space feels awkward when we have company over.

Anything small we can do to make it feel more put together? Thanks!

Without going insane with bleach / coloring / cut?
It just feels so one dimensional and flat :-(
