can seroquel make your nighttime anxiety worse?

for some slight background i am autistic and i have cptsd. i also have severe treatment resistant anxiety and insomnia. i was recently prescribed seroquel for my anxiety, mood swings, and insomnia.

when i first started it nothing went wrong but each time we’ve increased my dose it makes me tired enough to sleep and then i wake up an hour or so later. i wake up absolutely anxious and in a panic attack and nauseas (which could just be from my anxiety). i just went up on my dose again. i am at 300mg now and i started it last night. like everytime ive upped my dose i woke up within an hour of falling asleep and i was having a panic attack.

anyways all of that to say is this something anyone else has experienced or is it normal? and will it go away?

the levels system is so confusing.

when i was first diagnosed with autism i was not given a level so i’ve always felt a lot of imposter syndrome from that. since then i have had two separate evaluations and both of them came back with a different level. one of them said i was level one and the other said i was level two. it’s very confusing and it’s causing imposter syndrome all over again. i feel like a lot of the reason one assessor put down level one is because i do not have an intellectual disability however i do have a low IQ. i personally feel that i fit into the level two category but since i got two separate results i almost feel bad for saying that. during the evaluation that said i was level one i felt very invalidated and i felt like i couldn’t tell the truth during some of the questions. the doctor made me feel weird for my traits that are not very palatable. this is sorta just a vent but also if anyone has any advice i would definitely appreciate it.

what random bluey episodes make you emotional?

we all know the ones that make everyone emotional like camping, granddad, onesies, etc. i wanna know does anyone else have random episodes that make them emotional.

for me relax makes me so emotional because of how bluey and bingo react to being in the hotel. they’re so excited about the bunk bed, the hangers, the bubbles bath, etc. it reminds me of my childhood so much and i love seeing how they’re so happy over the little things.

the fishing update is sorta unfair.

i saw a similar post about this and i wanted to make my own because i had been thinking the same thing. the fishing “minigame” is unfair to disabled players.

the concept of it seems easy to most people but for disabled people it’s very difficult. for me i am autistic and my processing speed is significantly slower than the average person which means being able to tap the button in such a short time frame is almost impossible. this “minigame” would be hard for physically disabled people with things like multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, etc.

idk i know this probably seems like a bunch of complaining but it’s just a thing that’s been bothering me the past couple days. i wish there was an alternative way to do this.

what is your biggest dti pet peeve?

mine is donut faces 😭😭 i cannot stand them unless the theme calls for it like gyaru makeup has a lighter base in some sub genres.

my second has got to be people who put what they’re rating each fit in the chat like why 😭

okay so i’m making a plot with all the food in the game, it’s more fun to level up my cooking skill this way lol, and every single time i try to make the gelatin cake it refreshes my game and the cake disappears and the. the little map in the corner goes dark. i genuinely don’t know what’s happening and it’s been doing this for two days. 😭😭

so i’ve suspected i have mcas for a while now and my rheumatologist also suspects it (i should be going to an allergist who looks for it soon). i have these really weird flare ups and im just wondering if this is what anyone else experiences.

i get into these flare ups just randomly, nothing specifically triggers them with the exception of stress. stress and anxiety almost always triggers it. sometimes they happen after i eat sometimes they don’t. it’s all really weird lol. the symptoms i get start with my face feeling really strange, it’s kind of tingly and kind of numb. it starts just a bit but then it just continues to get worse. and then i get all these other symptoms like extreme brain fog to the point i can’t even form a sentence, my blood pressure drops, i get extremely dizzy and nauseous, and then my face and arms and sometimes even my legs break out in a rash. the rash welts up sometimes when it’s really bad. the rash itches and burns so bad, it feels like being bitten by a bunch of fire ants. and sometimes it takes hours for all of this to go away. on a few occasions it’s also felt like my throat was closing up but i never know if that’s from my anxiety. i’ve been to the hospital a handful of times when it gets really bad but they always dismiss me.

one thing that has helped me a few times is hydroxyzine (i have this for anxiety lol). but anyways i was just wondering is this what everyone else experiences? also does this sound like a good explanation of the symptoms?

(one last thing is that i’m also going to get my thyroid checked and they’re also looking out for some type of lupus but we’re pretty sure it’s MCAS)
