Hello everyone! 🌵
I designed a 3D-printed cactus organizer that works as a stand for jewelry, headphones, and a smartwatch. The model comes in multiple parts (main stem, two side stems, and a vase), and I’ve included two different
vase designs so you can choose your favorite.

Hey! I'm building SlideGen(.)pro tool to create Instagram/TikTok slides super fast. I'm looking for honest feedback from real people right now. Would you be up for trying it out and telling me what you think? Would mean a lot! 🚀
Quick background: I run a few projects across Instagram, TikTok and X. The content ideas flow fine, but turning them into actual slides and carousels has always been the bottleneck. Not because it's hard – just because it's slow and repetitive.
So I built slidegen.pro for my own workflow. You write (or paste) your text, it handles the layout and spits out slide-ready content optimized for vertical formats.
But here's the thing – I built it for *my* specific pain point. And I genuinely don't know if it solves a real problem for other creators or if I'm just optimizing something nobody else cares about.
So I have a few honest questions:
- Do you actually spend significant time on carousel/slide design?
- What's the most painful part of that process for you?
- What would a tool like this need to have for you to actually use it?
Not here to pitch anything. Just trying to figure out if this is worth building further or if I should move on to something else. Roast it if you want – that's more useful than polite non-answers.
Please try it out and share your feedback. www.slidegen.pro
If you post on Instagram, TikTok or X regularly, you know the drill: the content idea takes 10 minutes, making it look good takes 2 hours.
I manage a handful of projects across all three platforms and carousel/slide posts consistently ate the most time – so I built slidegen.pro to fix that for myself.
Core features:
- Paste your text → get a formatted slide layout instantly
- Custom background images
- Full carousel support (manage all slides in one view)
- Optimized for vertical/square social formats
- Canvas renderer so the export matches the preview exactly
Opened it up publicly a while back. It's free to try, would love honest feedback from people who actually do this kind of content work.
Been running a few projects across TikTok, Instagram and X for a while now. Content itself? Fine. But every time I needed to put together a decent-looking carousel or slide post, I'd lose 1–2 hours just fiddling with Canva layers, copy-pasting text, adjusting fonts...
At some point I thought: this is the most repetitive part of my workflow and there's no good reason for it.
So I built [slidegen.pro](https://slidegen.pro) for myself – and eventually made it public in case anyone else is stuck in the same loop.
What it does:
- You write your content (or paste it), it generates slide-ready layouts automatically
- Background image support – drop in your own visuals or use generated ones
- Multi-slide management so you can build a full carousel in one go, not slide by slide
- Canvas-based renderer → what you see is actually what exports
- Styled for vertical formats (TikTok/Reels/Stories) out of the box
It's not trying to be Canva. It's fast, opinionated, and built around the specific pain point of *turning text into scroll-stopping slides quickly*.
Still adding features but the core workflow is solid. Happy to answer questions or hear what you'd want from something like this.
Example slide is attached.
I’ve been a developer for many years. I’ve started probably 10 side projects. Every single one died in a folder somewhere on my laptop.
This one is live.
www.slidegen.pro, you type your ideas, it generates Instagram and TikTok slides. That’s it. No bloat, no 47-step onboarding, no “premium tier coming soon.”
I built it because I was tired of spending an hour in Canva every time I wanted to post a carousel. Text in → slides out. Done.
Is it perfect? No.
Did I wait until it was? Also no, and that’s the first time I’ve ever said that.
The real milestone isn’t the product. It’s that I actually shipped something. Put a domain on it. Told people it exists.
If you’ve been sitting on an idea for months waiting for it to be “ready” this is your sign. It won’t be. Ship the ugly version.
