Bakıda yaxşı laptop elektronika ustası/servisi axtarıram

Yaxınlarda laptopum su ilə təmas nəticəsində xarab olub. Aldığım yerin servisi təmir edə bilmədiyi üçün başqa yerə vermək istəyirəm. Büdcə problem deyil, sadəcə bildiyiniz en yaxşı elektronika təmiri mərkəzi haradır?

What do you wear in hot weather?

The weather is very hot here. The combinations in the fit pic don't look very suitable for hot weather. I wonder what you wear in the hot weather. I would be happy if you share.

Bakıda həvəskar fotoqrafiya ilə məşğul olan, kamerası olan kimsə var burda?

Salam hər kəsə. Şənbə-bazar günləri evdə oturmaqdansa, kamera ilə şəhəri gəzib çəkiliş etmək istəyirəm. Amma kamerası olan dostlarım adətən məşğul olduqları üçün tək çıxmalı oluram. Aranızda kamerası olan və həftəsonu birlikdə gəzib foto çəkmək istəyənlər varsa, birlikdə çıxa bilərik.

Office ceiling leaked and destroyed my laptop. Need advice on Azerbaijani civil law and corporate compensation.

I’m currently doing my Machine Engineering internship at a large mechanical machining plant here in Azerbaijan, and I’m dealing with a massive headache. I could really use some advice on what steps to take next.

During a sudden heavy rainstorm the other day, I stepped outside the office for about 10 minutes. When I came back, I found that the office ceiling had leaked directly onto my desk. My personal laptop (Lenovo Legion) was completely submerged in a pool of water. It was plugged in at the time, so it suffered an immediate short circuit.

I rushed it to a repair shop, and the technician showed me the motherboard—it has massive galvanic corrosion. They are currently writing up an official defect act (defekt aktı), but it’s going to require expensive micro-soldering and a new keyboard.

For context, I brought my own laptop to practice CAD and CAM operations on real-world factory models just to learn the processes faster during my internship. A lawyer friend told me that under the Azerbaijani Civil Code (Articles 1096 and 1114), the building owner is liable for property damage caused by infrastructure defects, like a leaking roof in a closed office.

However, dealing with a massive corporate entity is intimidating. I’m worried their HR or HSE (SƏTƏM) departments will try to dodge responsibility by arguing that I’m just an intern, they never officially requested me to bring my own hardware, or they might just blame the weather.

Has anyone here dealt with getting compensated for damaged personal property by a large company? How should I formally approach them with my defect act and proof to actually get a payout without having to immediately threaten a lawsuit? I'd really appreciate any guidance on how to handle this. Thanks!

Office roof leaked directly onto my open Legion 7i Gen 10. Keyboard was literally a pool. What are my survival chances?

Hey guys, I’m dealing with a massive nightmare right now and could really use some honest opinions.

Here is exactly what happened: I was at the office running CAM programs on my Legion 7i Gen 10. It was hot out, but suddenly a massive rainstorm hit. Everyone went outside to watch it, so I stepped out for about 10 minutes, leaving my laptop open and plugged in on my desk.

I decided to head back inside to put it in my bag (I baby this thing and didn't want to take any risks). When I got to the room, I noticed water near the door. Then I looked at my desk—the ceiling was leaking directly onto my laptop. It wasn't just a few drops; the keyboard was completely submerged in a pool of water.

When I found it, the laptop looked completely off (no lights at all). I have my power plan set so it takes a long time to go to sleep when plugged in, so it definitely didn't go to sleep on its own before the water hit. I instantly yanked the power cord, flipped it upside down to drain the water, and started wiping the outside dry with a towel.

Then I made a terrifying mistake: while cleaning it, I opened the lid to wipe the screen, and the "Flip to Start" feature automatically triggered it to turn on. The power button lit up blue. I immediately held the power button down to force shut it off. That blue power light was the only sign of life I saw.

I rushed it to a repair shop, but it took exactly 3 hours from the spill until the battery was physically disconnected. They are going to do a deep clean on the motherboard.

Given all these details—it was running when flooded, looked dead, woke up to a blue light via "Flip to Start," and sat with the battery connected for 3 hours—what are my realistic survival chances? Can anyone analyze this situation?

Thanks in advance.

Need stand recommendations for Legion 7i Gen 10 (Cooling + External Keyboard setup)

Including this format just to comply with the subreddit rules, even though it feels a bit unnecessary for a laptop stand request lol.

Budget: Max $50 USD Country: Azerbaijan Use Case: Gaming (mainly FPS) Preferred Specs: N/A (Looking for an accessory, not a laptop) Notes: I’m looking for a laptop stand for my Legion 7i Gen 10. My main goals are to lower my temps and free up some desk space so I can comfortably use an external keyboard. Just lifting the laptop manually gives me about a 5°C drop.

My main issue is ergonomics. I play a lot of FPS games with an external keyboard. If I place the keyboard in front of the laptop, the screen sits way too far back, and I can't spot enemies properly. To fix this, I try to push my external keyboard closer to the screen. However, because the Legion has that long extended rear (thermal shelf), the keyboard ends up sitting too far away, making it super uncomfortable for my arms.

Does anyone have a stand recommendation that raises the back of the laptop high enough and creates a nice clearance underneath/around it? I just want to be able to slide my keyboard in close while keeping the screen near my face.

graphic mod recommendations

Hello everyone, I’m still pretty new to the Assetto Corsa modding world. So far I’m using CSP 3.0 + Pure + the CDImagined PP filter. Are there any other mods you’d recommend installing?

I actually want to have two different presets:

  • one focused on cruising with music and enjoying good graphics/visuals,
  • and another one mainly for racing on servers. I really enjoy racing at Monza, so it would be nice to have a more performance-focused preset for that.

Hello, I bought a new legion 7i laptop and I was wondering which version of solidworks would be better to install.Since I have a new rtx 5060 and intel 255hx, is the best option the 2026 version or does the 2023 version give the same performance?

Hello, in a few days I will buy my legion 7i gen 10 255hx rtx 5060 laptop. When I open the laptop for the first time, after using it for a while, I want to reinstall Windows to get rid of bloatware. For this I used atlasos or some tools on my old computer. I want to get a long-term stable computer, do you think it makes sense for me to install atlasos? If I install Atlasos, the computer's applications like lenovo vantage will be deleted. I would appreciate it if anyone knows how to re-install them. In general, I am confused about the order in which I should install the drives. For the first time, a laptop with an external gpu I will use.

Thanks in advance for the advice
