Parents have this tree in the backyard. We were told it's a walnut tree. Looking up walnut trees the bark looks a lot darker, so what type of walnut tree is it? I remember years ago seeing some kind of dropped nut.

My daily snack. Silverside cornbeef jerky. Cut up inch X half inch pieces and in the dehydrator for 8 hours. 4lbs makes 1.5lbs of jerky. Keep it in the freezer.

Why so many layers? He will be in the room with people in a shirt or dress but he is always 5 layers deep; singlet, shirt, vest, suit and then jacket.

At a loss with 6 year old. Half of prep undiagnosed. Started on ritalin, worked perfectly for a year and now no meds work...

Our youngest was diagnosed last year and we started him on ritalin. Within a couple days he was back to full days at school, focused. no more physical violence or outbursts.

At the start of this term the ritalin just stopped working. Back came the leaving classes, meltdowns, refusing any cooperation, non verbal with loud noises but nothing physical yet. We went to see the paediatrician and she said the dosage was max for his size and age, suggested we go to long lasting 10 h doses. But we didn't see any improvement.

We went back after a week and she said he might be resistant to ritalin now. We asked if a growth spurt would have anything to do with and she doesn't think so as he hasnt changed much in the past 3 months.

She put us on dex, we have finally got to the full dose and there is still no change in behaviour.

We are currently looking into Pharmacogenetic (PGx) testing.

Just wondering if there is anything we could or should try as we are struggling to comprehend what is happening.

School says he is way to smart for any consideration for special school. They have aids in every class but they can't settle or contain him when he runs off through the school.

Yeah they probably have allocations for each game but to be sold out each quarter before the siren goes.

$6 hotdogs I thought was an ok price. Now it makes sense, they probably stock 50 for the game.

Yadayada yes I could give kids less screen time but just wandering if it's possible to limit users to 1 episode per show per day or multiple episodes per show per week.. Want them to have a variety

Edit: it's just wanting the kids to watch a variety of shows in their watch time.

Yes I could get them to follow such a rule but might be hard for them to manage over the week. Would be great for them to look forward to watching something on a certain day when it comes available again.
