I immediately emailed all the shops on the list near me for details and the first to reply said:

As a bandcamp pre-order purchaser... FUCK! lol

I was of the impression the goodie bags were to be handed out to attendees. I hope this isn't the case at all the shops...

Edit to add: Thankfully, so far it does not look like the norm (I've heard back from a few shops now and others have commented similarily). Also worth noting, multiple have told me they have permission to sell the album early (on that day/during the listening party). Neat!
