Miracle Knots Install

This is my first time creating Miracle knots on my daughter. I used All Day Braid gel and curly crochet hair. The style time was 2.5 hours.

This is what precision braiding looks like

Whoever braided this understood the assignment. 😍 Would you wear this style exactly as is, or would you change the color?

Tried a pink and sherbet blend for this box braid

Finished this style using white and sherbet colored pre-stretched braiding hair. I was aiming for a soft, summery color palette while keeping the classic box braid look. I enjoy experimenting with different color combinations and learning what works best.

Black and blue box braids turned out better than I expected 💙🖤

I finished this set of box braids using black and blue pre-stretched braiding hair and really like how the colors blend together. The blue adds just enough contrast without being overwhelming. Protective, lightweight, and easy to style.

Boho knotless braids are the definition of versatility

Boho knotless braids might be my favorite protective style for one reason: versatility. Hair down, messy bun, ponytail, or baseball cap, they always look good. Do you prefer wearing your braids out or under a hat?

What's one hairstyle you'll never get again?

Not because it looked bad, but because of the installation time, maintenance, tension, or overall experience. What style was it, and what made you decide it wasn't worth doing again?

What's the best braiding hair right now? Ruwa X-Pression vs Sensationnel X-Pression vs Rastafri Braid- full breakdown after testing all three

Sensationnel X-Pression My top pick for knotless braids. Pre-stretched, extremely lightweight, and the texture is smooth enough that it doesn't cause scalp itch even on sensitive heads. Great for kids and anyone prone to tension headaches. Holds up well for 6–8 weeks.

Ruwa X-Pression Best for box braids and twists. Slightly thicker than Sensationnel, which gives more body and volume. The pre-stretch is consistent pack to pack, which matters when you're doing uniform braids. Not my first choice for knotless because the weight adds tension at the root.

Rastafri Budget-friendly and widely available, but the quality is inconsistent. Some packs are silkier than others from the same box. Good for practice installs or short-term styles (under 4 weeks).

Sensationnel X-Pression for knotless and kids. Ruwa for itch free box braids needing volume. Rastafri only if budget is the priority.

What are you currently using and what style are you installing?
