To the bag I couldn’t afford in 2021, I’ll never stop searching for you.

In Fall 2021, my entire life was in limbo; I worked part time and had recently moved back in with my parents due to the pandemic delaying my plans to move across the world.

I went and visited my friends in NYC. In our many adventures, we stopped into an Acne Studios outlet. I’d never heard of Acne Studios before this and none of us could afford a single thing in there.

On our way out, I saw THE bag I’ve never stopped thinking about since: a dusty mauve, suede Acne Studios Mini Musubi bag. It was marked down to $600 and I left knowing there was no way in the world it would happen but that I would never stop thinking about it.

5 years later, my life has stabilized, I just got a promotion, and I’m a homeowner. I cannot stop thinking about this bag and it is nowhere to be found.

This is my shot into the big dark sky: if you have this bag and don’t reach for it, happen upon it in the world, or see it online… I hope you think of me!

She belongs with me! 🗣️ I will find her one day! It’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all!

Finding a dress for a black tie wedding has been a nightmare.

In my everyday life, I am able to wear exclusively natural fibers with very little trouble sourcing everything I need (primarily second hand).

Unfortunately, however, on my hunt for a ~$150 or less wedding guest dress for a black tie wedding (with fall colors), I have met more challenge than ever.

Do any sites come to mind for more formal dresses in natural fibers? Thank you for all advice or just for commiserating!

When in Fort Worth for the concert, I found this magical thing at an antique mall. Today, I added a photo magnet of Florence at the concert! I plan to frame my concert posters and hang this next to them.
