Best way to get a website up and running for my limited company?

Very much not my forte but I would quite like to get a little website up and running to promote my services. Don't have a clue where to start or which app/platform to use.

Can anyone make some recommendations on what to use, how to get started, whether it's normal to pay or are there free versions? (edit: i don't mind paying, i just want to know all the options).

I would not be able to do it writing code or anything like that.

Main requirement I have at the moment is I wouldn't want the platform's name appearing in the URL (datagenius.squarespace.co.uk etc) That's not my company's real name by the way.

Many thanks

OMG, Gardeners just will not leave my garden alone!

My landlord is having next door's garden cleared following tenants moving out, and he told me they would do mine at the same time.

I thought he meant they would pop over and give it a mow, cut back some of the shrubs, but they have been there three days now, two of 'em!

They have stripped the garden bare, like locusts. While it is nice to have some of the areas clean, I also used to like to wander through it when it was lush and verdant.

More importantly, though, what the hell are they still doing in there, f*****g around endlessly with their rakes?? It's not even a very big garden, just a thin strip at the back of the house.

I want my garden back, it's my favourite place to hang out.

Exactly!

I'm sure it's not deliberate, but it seems to me a bit rude the way Dom handles Tom's observations sometimes, when Dom is leading the discussion.

he doesn't stop to engage with them or riff off them, he just says "exactly!" then carries on with what he was saying.

Has anyone ever fired someone who is a high performer but a disruptive narcissist? or seen it?

Seems to be a common dilemma posted on this sub, but in real life situations I have never seen any hint of a suggestion that toxic high performers should be fired.

Tony as a Good Man

  1. nursing Pie-o-My.

  2. advising Tracee on her relationship.

  3. his distress at AJ's suicide attempt.

  4. rushing to help Carmine when he had a stroke.

  5. gently warning Patsy to drop his beef re spoons, rather than just whacking him.

  6. advising Chris not to dump Adrianna for her lack of childbearing skills.

  7. admonishing Paulie for cutting off his surrogate Mother.

let's say I ask chat GPT for an essay on the Importance of beekeeping to the Athenian economy, 500-100 BC.

Am I going to get a copy paste of other people's articles?

or is chat GPT going to think about the information, analyze it, form some opinions based on it, decide what to leave in and leave out, decide how to structure the essay, decide which points to make in which order, make connections between the various parts of the essay and reference them, look at it again and think "oh hang on, the fourth paragraph is not needed because it's basically a repeat of the introduction" etc?

disclaimer : honestly not cheating on my homework (many decades past school age)

just really fascinated by how this stuff works.

can I stop it doing that?

Yes I know it depends on the situation, but which general considerations are there to bear in mind? (if it's not something obvious like one is subject to a retake and the other isn't)
