Entry Level Hiring Process Insight

Hi everyone! I am job searching for jobs at the state (specifically the laboratory sciences job class), and I've seen a lot or helpful info re tailoring my resume and such which is extremely helpful. I was just wondering if anyone had any insight as to how to stand out as an entry level candidate (2 years post grad, 1yr environmental laboratory, 1yr medtech lab)? I assume there's less internal bidders for a level 1 or 2 role, but I know there's still a lot of very qualified candidates out there.

Thank you so so much, I really appreciate the time invested in helping me :)

This may be obnoxious, but after ten years, countless diets, hours in the gym, and two years on a GLP-1, I have finally, finally reached my goal weight. It's not really something I can celebrate with friends or family, but it's taken so much work, and a large portion of my life, that I wanted to announce it somewhere. And this community has been so kind and helpful that I thought it would be nice to announce it here. I've never been a big picture taker, but eventually I'll do some before and afters, haha!
