Crazy Omni-Man Mirror Match

https://reddit.com/link/1tylj38/video/oxadaehito5h1/player

Had some crazy sets against a really good Omni-Man/Sonya team.

A year ago, this exact combo used to fold me like laundry. I’d get hit, panic, block the wrong way (ALWAYS), and then wonder why the round was already over.

Now I can actually beat it most of the time, which feels pretty damn good. The sessions were super fun too. I love Omni mirror matches, just two angry dads with mustaches flying around beating each other up. (I'm the blue one btw). Full video here if anyone wants to watch

Blown away!!! Wow!

I finally started playing this after waiting for a long, long time.

As a hardcore James Bond fan, this game completely blew me away. I only played about 30 minutes, but I had an absolute blast. From the intro to the credits-style sequence, the dedicated song, the whole presentation, it genuinely felt like I was watching a Bond movie again, only this time I actually got to play as him.

It’s been years since a single-player game made me feel this excited so quickly. I was already hyped knowing it came from the studio behind Hitman, but the opening honestly exceeded my expectations. I was literally smiling and mesmerized during the whole credits sequence, excited like little boy again, just like old times. Even teared up a bit (Yea go ahead and laugh idc xd)

I’ve barely scratched the surface, but for me, the beginning was amazing. The graphics are insane, and so far on PS5 I haven’t had a single dip or stutter.

Just my 2 cents.

By the way, I haven’t read any reviews going in, and I don’t plan to until I finish the game. I went in completely blind, and I’m glad I did.

Is this game just poorly optimized?

I have a pretty monstrous rig that I recently built:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D
Motherboard: Gigabyte X870E AORUS ELITE X3D DDR5
GPU: ASUS PRIME NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 OC Edition
RAM: 64GB DDR5 6000MT/s Kingston Fury Beast RGB CL30
Storage: Samsung 9100 PRO 4TB Gen5 NVMe M.2

And yet, No Rest for the Wicked still struggles to hold 120 FPS at max settings.

I’m not even talking about 4K, this is at 1440p. Some areas drop to around 80 FPS, sometimes even 70 FPS, and there’s a lot of stuttering when I move around and the camera follows the character. It just does not feel smooth.

I’m pretty sure it’s not my rig, because even when I lower the settings, the results are almost the same.

Other games run smoothly.

Is the game still badly optimized, or is there something specific causing this? Have the developers mentioned whether performance improvements are coming?

AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D No fans detected on FanControl

I've seen some people post their fancontrol pics where it works, why does the program not recognize my fans?

Built this PC, should arrive on Tuesday, wdyt?

Hi everyone, I’d like to get some professional opinions on this build.

The PC is being built by a local company and should be ready by Tuesday. It has been stress-tested for about a week. During testing, they noticed the original cooling solution wasn’t enough for the CPU, so they changed it.

I don’t have much knowledge when it comes to water cooling, so that part is still a bit unclear to me. The PC will be used for both business/workloads and gaming, so I’m looking for strong overall performance, not only gaming performance.

Specs:

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D
  • Cooler: Corsair water cooling, exact model unknown. They are currently testing it to make sure it can handle the CPU properly. What cooler would you recommend for this CPU?
  • GPU: ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 OC
  • RAM: Kingston 64GB DDR5 6000MHz, 2x32GB CL30
  • Storage: Samsung 9100 PRO 4TB PCIe 5.0 NVMe M.2 2280
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte X870E Aorus Pro
  • PSU: Corsair RMx Shift 1200W
  • Case: Corsair 5000D Airflow
  • Monitor: ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM, 31.5" 4K 240Hz

I’d appreciate opinions on the overall balance of the build, especially the cooling choice for the 9950X3D.

Is there anything here you would change, or anything I should double-check before picking it up?

Also, regarding the monitor, is the PG32UCDM still a good choice, or is it worth waiting for the newer 3rd gen QD-OLED / CDM3 models?

Thanks.
