I am very new to this, and literally just started on a whim with my parent's maine coon's shedding (lots of soft and long hair). I was kinda just messing around with it when I actually started rolling it and twisting into yarn.

However, it took me about 5 feet before I figured out a good tension and rhythm, which means I have about 1ft of decent and consistent yarn and 5ft of flimsy, fraying, unevenly weighted yarn. I don't have access to any tools, I was carding it by hand to prep, so I don't know how to restart now that I know what to do.

I want to make it nice, but I also don't want to have to wait for more hair when I have 5 feet of usable hair I just need to undo. If anyone could offer some suggestions, I would appreciate it.

Hi! I have been using Eclipse since I started my CompSci degree, and I usually use it as my preferred IDE. However, I have been encountering an issue recently that is making me lean towards finding a new one, and I'd like to know if anyone else has encountered and solved this issue.

For my current class, I CANNOT have my files be contained in packages. It breaks the way the testing is run. It is tedious to have to open each file individually after saving it in order to remove the package line at the top. However, I am encountering an issue where Eclipse forces you to put files in packages. If I make a new file or import one, it forces it into a package. If I have a data file like a txt, it refuses to let me add it to the package. I also can't drag-n-drop to remove my java files from the package either, it just duplicates them or flat-out refuses to do it.

Is there some kind of setting or something I can use to force it to stop making these freaking packages? It is so annoying, frustrating, and rage-inducing that I am seriously considering switching to a new IDE and uninstalling Eclipse entirely. I tend to prefer one-and-done programs like Eclipse, but I am beyond irritated with the rigidness of the file structure when not every kind of project or program is going to follow that structure.

I finally managed to get a doctor to listen to me, and understand that the amount of fatigue I feel/was feeling was not normal. She did labs, then put me on a once a week 8-week long D3 1250mcg supplement and an every-other-day Ferrous Sulfate EC 325mg supplement. They have helped immensely. I started feeling the difference about a week in with the D3, about two days later with the iron. I finished the D3 last week and have already noticed a decline in my energy levels. I'm not getting as many of the sudden dizziness and BP drops I was before the iron supplements, but with the end of the D3 my energy has tanked once more. I am back to being exhausted all the time, and wanting to sleep and stay in bed all day.

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions for what to do in the meantime that might help? I am going to try to get another appointment soon to talk to her, but I can't function like this and it's frustrating.

The other frustrating part is not knowing what's causing the deficiency. I use a happy light, and go outside for 30-60 minute intervals repeatedly throughout the day, and I try to keep my iron up via diet, but I still have to rely on meds because I don't know the root cause and neither does my doctor. Hypothyroidism runs in my family, but my labs have been normal for that every single time I've had them checked over the last 5 years for this exact freaking issue.

Hi! I am looking for some assistance. So, my boyfriend and I started having sex a while ago. We both have been having trouble with orgasming. We decided to try just inserting with no movement to see how it feels, with me on top to prevent a gravitational risk. We very quickly learned that it felt ridiculously good compared to using a condom.

I currently have a copper IUD, as I cannot use a hormonal one for health reasons. Other than a condom, what methods can I combine with it? I was considering asking my doctor for a diaphragm, but wanted to see if there were any more effective methods to combine. Neither of us is ready for a kid right now. We're both in college, with a few years late start, so we won't be ready for potential offspring until at least my graduation, and probably not until his final graduation (multiple degree levels).

From what I could see online, it looks like the most effective options other than a condom that I can combine with my IUD are a diaphragm or the ring + fertility tracking. Wasn't sure if there were others I could try with that or instead.

As the title says. I have been scouring the internet for answers with no luck. I have all of their fics saved, so it's not really my main worry. Maybe this is a little selfish, but I'm mostly upset because our comments back and forth to each other are gone, and they gave me some great advice once. Has anyone been able to find any answers? I saw some stuff about their discord server disappearing too, and while I was in it, I don't recall seeing any announcement notifications about it either. I just really hope that they're doing okay.

Hi! I just installed the KOReader+NickelMenu zip to my Kobo Clara BW from the MobileReads forum, linked from the official KOReader Github. I am unsure if I did it wrong or if I was expecting something different from what I got. I did not use the quick install script because I am an idiot and didn't read ahead. However, I did follow the instructions. I unzipped the file to the Main folder, no subfolders, as instructed.. Just the G:\ Drive (my Kobo's assigned letter). I waited for it to load, ejected it, then waited for it to update and adjust. When I opened it, and hit home, it is taking me to a file browser. My collections did not move over nor did my history (though I wasn't expecting the latter to do so). When I exit KOReader, it is showing all of the KOReader files in my library as well, drowning out my actual books. If I can provide any more information, please let me know.

I am a bit scatterbrained this past week, so I apologize if this is disjointed or leaving out obvious information. Please let me know if there is something I just forgot to do, or if I need to do a fresh install of KOReader

Hi! To preface, I did search the subreddit before posting, apologies if this has heen asked and answered previously and I just missed it. I have a Clara BW, and I LOVE IT. However, I've encountered an annoying issue. I primarily read fanfiction on it, with some actual books mixed in. About 20/80, 30/70, with the smaller number being actual books.

I use Calibre to organize all of my books, and with that I use tags and such. They're built into the fanfictions for the most part, and I add them to the published books for easier sorting and filtering. The issue I am running into is that I have over 300 books on my Kobo, and it is annoying as can be that my only options for filtering are imported/not, reading status, and ebook vs audiobook.

Is there any kind of mod or plug-in that allows me to be more specific with my sorting? I have way too many books to just rely on the above options + collections. I tag everything carefully in Calibre, so I can figure out if I want to read a published murder mystery or a romantic fanfiction, but it becomes useless once I transfer the books over.

If there is not one already out there, does anyone know where I could find a guide for making my own plug-in or mod? I am very frustrated by the inability to sort even by genre. Or even just a way to select multiple things: Unread + Imported, Currently reading + bought in store, etc.

I tell it to disconnect or disable Bluetooth, and it does, but as soon as I turn my computer Bluetooth off and on again, it reconnects. How do I get it to turn it off permanently, until I need it again? It fucks up the audio quality with my headphones when multiple devices are connected.

Hello! I am making an (eventually) public modpack, with it's main goal as being a primarily singleplayer experience.

There are a LOT of mods. How would I go about letting the first tabs from all of those mods show? I don't really want to grant the actual achievements, but how else would a player know where to start if they don't have the advancement screen as a guide?

Currently, only a few of the mods start with the tabs visible. And base game Minecraft isn't one of them. When I load a completely vanilla world on the instance, it give the usual default blank screen in the advancements. I want the player to be able to see the starting screens for each mod, so they know what they need to do to get started with each one.

Is there a command, mod, or datapack I can run that will do what I'm looking for? Or will I need to make a Patchouli or Lavender book that explains getting started with each mod tree?

[23F] I am very frustrated right now. I was 2.5 months free from bedwetting, and my self-confidence had started to increase again.

I messed up, broke my own rules and routine, and paid the price. I stayed up excessively late (almost 3AM), was very stressed this past evening/day, had both caffeine and an excess amount of water before bed, didn't go to the restroom again right before I laid down, and was too tired to get up once I did. I woke up at 5:30 to feed my cat. I was asleep for less than 3 hours. I don't know that I have EVER wet the bed in that short of a time frame before, so I guess I slept really deeply.

Either way, even knowing that it's my own fault for abandoning my routine, it's still really frustrating and disheartening to have to start my streak over again. I feel a mixture of shame and despair right now, even though I know that this is just a minor setback, and I can get back into my routine again.
