2026 Chevy Traverse LT - Purchased - changes to settings?

Finally replaced our old car — settled on a 2026 Chevy Traverse LT with the Driver Convenience Package.

What settings changes did you all make after getting yours? So far the only one we've changed is turning on hands-free liftgate — it comes off by default.

Also, does anyone have a cheat sheet for the settings and controls? I've been going through the manual to get familiar with everything. The biggest adjustment for us is not having a traditional shift stick like our previous cars.

Getzen 700 Special for student

My son has been playing a rental Yamaha 2335 for a few years and an opportunity has come up to purchase a Getzen 700 Special in great condition. Maintained and serviced by what I would call a music connoisseur.

Wondering what your thoughts are about it?

We have been looking for months to stop the renting and getting him something better. Unfortunately i'm stuck with the rental until next year. Its paid till next June 2027.

Where is the 120 volt outlet located on the LT AWD model?

The model we are looking at has the driver confidence package and it states 120 volt outlet.

Subaru Ascent questions

We are considering the Subaru Ascent 7 seater premium model.

We went to look at one at the dealership today and my wife felt like the driver seat was at low level when compared to other 7 seater SUV's. Wondering what is your opinion.

The other thing we saw on the car which we can't find online is between the bucket seats there seem to be a step to reach the third row. But all the videos and photos I see online it should be a straight walk-through. Maybe some type of accessory?

Ball fit and weight adjustments during the pre-teen years

For those of you with kids who bowl — how often do you get their ball adjusted, or make the switch to a heavier weight?

My son is 11 and has been bowling for several years. He started with a 9 lb plastic T-Zone for a couple of years, then last summer we moved him up to a 10 lb Rhino so he could start learning to hook it. He struggled a bit at first, but from mid-November through February he was looking great. Then around March his hook started falling apart and his scores have been trending down ever since.

We're heading to the pro shop this week — he mentioned on our last session that his finger inserts (not the thumb) feel off, so I'm guessing a growth spurt may have changed his fit. I'm also going to try to set him up with a lesson with the pro shop guy to talk through why the hook has disappeared and what the options are — whether that's adjusting the current ball or stepping up to a higher weight.

Has anyone else been through this with their kid around this age? Curious how often you're revisiting fit and weight as they grow, and any advice before we go in would be great!

Ductless Mini Split Line insulation?

I was wondering what the protection that they put over the ductless mini split lines are called? If this is something I could do myself and replace around this line that the sun has eating away at it. Also how important is it?

If I can't do it myself, then I will ask a local hvac company for a quote.

First Two Handed Game

I'm not very good one handed in general. I only got a ball to play against with my kid. My kid is the bowler. It has been suggested to my kid that he might want to try two handed bowling instead of one handed. So I thought I give it a shot and we both can learn or try it out.

This was my first time bowling since March. I went home and look up some more videos on how to actually hold a ball two handed. Hopefully my second time its better.

I got my kid a r36s for xmas, he plays it here and there.

He really likes Dr. Mario but everytime we try the version on N64 it is all messed up. Any tips to make it work?

Currently playing mostly Dr. Mario on Gameboy version.

Oh forgot to add that the unit is running dArkOS.

I took the r36s unit I got a few months ago with arkos and loaded dArkos on another micro-sd card to try it out.

I want to put only the games I actually use on this device so I want to properly add the boxart etc.

Where do the images go? I been doing simple testing with one game on Gameboy.

ROMS/gb/game01.zip
ROMS/gb/images/game01.png

I did this and nothing, no image in dArkos.

I had a AI help me and it kept telling me it should be in /Imgs folder. I tried that and nothing.

I finally did get something going using /images folder but i had to create a gamelist.xml file and include the path of the image in the file.

I was also using Skraper app to get the images and gamelist.xml. My r36s does not have wifi to do scrapping on the device itself.

I had some questions about trying out two-handed bowling. My son and I are both one-handed bowlers. I only occasionally bowl and I'm pretty bad. My son, though, is 11 and has bowled for several years but is still really struggling — it's very up and down and never consistent.

So we both have our own balls drilled for one-handed bowling. Can the same balls be used to try two-handed bowling?

I was at my son's league games last week watching the two-handed bowlers and saw several different grip styles. I saw one person using only the thumb hole — so I assumed it must be drilled thumb-only — but then noticed the ball also had holes for the middle and ring fingers. I saw another person using the middle and ring fingers but not the thumb. And lastly, I saw some people not using any holes at all.

Is there no set way? And can we try two-handed bowling with our current balls?

I run Adguard Home and the units are so chatty trying to reach "nat.wemo2.com". I blocked that on Adguard Home but top blocked domains has the wemo address at 60%.

Even though the units continue to work through Home Assistant and Apple Homekit i'm starting to think I should just start shutting them down completely and get more units from a different company.
