Goated Jumper ⚓⚓⚓

One of our best and most unique designs. This was the last version of the 3 colour anchor jumper (with full purple back) that came out in 2010, do you think we will ever see it for a retro round one day? Is 16 years too recent for retro?

Whether you're team Green or team Black, we can all agree that this guy is a massive fucking loser who ruined any chance of getting what he wanted.

I used to like Ulf for the odd laugh and his eccentric style but it got old real fast this season. Any time Ulf is given a task he shirks all responsibility and resents his superiors after they rightfully get mad at his fuck ups. "BuT hE JuSt WaNtS tO DrInK Wit Da BoYs". Nah, this guy is a fucking useless moronic clown ass motherfucker who has been given the opportunity for the title and castle he desires but refuses to obey simple orders. What Daemon did to him in the street was wrong but I don't know how he can double cross the Greens after all that and still think he is in the right.

Fuck this guy.

One thing I wish they kept similar from the original DW3 - The on-hit effects

For me it always irked me a bit how the jump graphically from DW3 to 4 came with them changing the hit effects from the red mist style to a sparks-flying look.

Even if there was more detail in DW4 I always found the splotchy red effects from 3 to look much better especially when you’re hitting dozen of enemies at the same time. It kinda looks more like blood too.

This change to the sparks style also coincided with a more ‘liney’ feel visually with more aliasing and straight edges and less curves to offset the lack of decent AA back then. Anyway I kinda would have preferred if they stayed true to that visual design a bit more (with the remaster) but ofc combined with modern 2026 visuals. Everything else looks great though. What do you think?

Call me crazy but couldn't a dragon just burn these grapples to a crisp?

A dragon can barbecue a steel clad knight in seconds and easily burn a ship to smithereens but can't destroy one of these? The dragon can turn it's head and still has room to breathe fire without hitting itself. Whether they're made out of rope or stronger metal it doesn't make much sense to not at least try.
