I managed to complete my SOS chain hunt for a shiny Cottonee in my Ultra Sun game right before Nintendo announced the dreaded Pokemon Bank support closure date 😭🥲

I know it’s probably not a big deal but I just thought it was funny.. if not sad 🌞😔 (his name is Popkernel..)

Sorry, I wasn’t sure which flair applied best to this but this is from the annual Yo-Kai Watch collab/crossover with FFXIV. I guess it’s some type of digital merchandise(?) thing

Most of you may already know by now, but every year there’s an event in-game that allows players to earn Yo-Kai inspired weapons 🤓

I’m not the biggest Manjimutt fan but this is one of the only job-classes I’m decent at so I gotta represent the series somehow 🙏

I may have started this Ultra Sun game 2 years ago.. but I decided to take my time with it and it fell even further to the back burner with Z-A’s release 😭

Z-A was a little bit of a letdown so I came back to this..
I took a little break from meaningfully progressing to try SOS chain hunting again since I had luck with it prior, actually managing to catch that shiny Alolan Meowth when I first started 🤠 (idk if anyone remembers my older post, lol)

Again, I wasn’t keeping track too well but this guy took like 245+ encounters and this bugger broke through my one Love Ball I had wanted to use for him. Either way, he’s everything I had wanted in a shiny Buneary. His name is Choc and I already have a Lopunny on my team but I may keep this guy as an unevolved team mascot 🥲🐇

Lolly’s in my campsite but I currently have 10 villagers in my town. One of my villagers mentioned moving out but that won’t be until later..

I’ve been searching through older forums and it seems as though there’s some confusion/conflicting answers online. Some places mention you can talk to the camper enough and they’ll eventually ask to replace an existing villager but I think that’s only for New Horizons. Lolly is obviously going to be a pain to try to get again, especially on New Leaf since there’s no more online support for multiplayer.. I just wanted to know whether it was worth continuing our sad conversations before I give up 😅🥲

I’m sure this has happened to a lot of people by now with their cat villagers but I just got Ankha on my island and she’s fun 🐱

Is there any meaningful connection between the name Anna and ice? I guess there’s Frozen but this is the name I had chose for my character way back as a kid during the early days of the game 🤠😭

Playing New Horizons for so long had me forgetting how many quality of life features were in New Leaf 😭 For someone with my schedule, it’s really nice to be able to adjust the “active hours” of the town without needing to mess with the internal system clock

This made me laugh sm 😭 (Sorry Bunnie, you’re cool)

All jokes aside, returning to this game felt like a.. surprising breath of fresh air after New Horizons 🌞
