HP DL360 Gen 9 VMWare vSAN

I wanted to try and setup vSAN on some spare Gen 9 servers I have. Recommendation is to have OS and Data on different controllers. What is the best place to install ESXi OS? Am I better off buying another storage controller just for the OS? I don't think the gen 9 servers have a BOSS card available.

Looking for replacing 7.4” led fixtures

So my house has a lot of these ones with the integrated led. Right now one has completely failed but I have these throughout my house.

7.4-in White Indoor 1 -Light LED Flush Mount Light 2 -Pack https://www.lowes.com/pd/Project-Source-2-Pack-7-4-in-White-Modern-Contemporary-LED-Flush-Mount-Light-ENERGY-STAR/999918952

Most of the flush mount replacements like the ones with the nipple are 13” so a bit larger. Is there anything a similar size that uses e26 or should I just keep replacing these as they fail?

Inaccurate CGMs

Anyone else struggle with accuracy ?

My previous sensor the stelo was very accurate but now it’s reading high. I’m also wearing a Libre 3+ and it’s reading too low.

Of course my finger stick is right between them. I’ve been fasting for like 16 hours.

Used vs New

So I can get a used 23 SEL for about 11k less than new. Is it worth the savings ? How much will be I annoyed at the lack of features like rear wiper that they added in 25. Do the new ones have less iccu failures ?

Switch 2 Transfer removed profile from switch 1

I setup a switch 2 today and it copied my wife’s profile over to the switch 2 but then it removed this profile from the switch 1. Did I do something wrong? How can I copy this profile to the switch 1?

I’d like her to be able to play a switch game on both switch devices but not at the same time. My understanding is cloud save data should allow this to work but now when I open the game it wants to start over and I tried to import the profile on the switch 1 but it doesn’t seem to actually try to import from the switch 2.

Is it possible to fix this ?

Inaccurate at certain levels

So I’ve noticed recently that I can’t trust some of the readings. I’ll usually be like 100-110 according to the cgm but recently it’s been off by 30 points especially when fasting.

This morning it was around 100-110 but meter said 140. Had a blood test shortly later this morning and it was actually 130. Earlier I tested 135 and cgm was within a few points. A few mins ago meter tested at 118 and 10 mins later cgm is 83. I know there is a delay but I doubt it will rise to almost 120.

I guess just double check your cgm accuracy because my a1c has increased some and for me morning numbers haven’t been 130-140 in years. It’s odd how at certain times it will just be so far off.

Lease with 15 months left

So I have 15 months left and I’ll go way over on mileage and I don’t want to buy it out due to partly because it will be worth less than residual. My current estimate is I’ll owe like 4-5k at the end. I’m tempted to buy my next vehicle now to put that 4-5k on financing a used car. I want to get off the lease wagon due to my job requiring 20k miles a year. Is my math wrong here? Am I better off just paying overage and dealing with this next year or get another vehicle and stop driving it? I’ll still need to make 15 more lease payments but I think it would be good to avoid that mileage overage.

Residual will be like 29k and it’s worth 21k.

About done with Libre 3+

I finally had a sensor last 15 days. Now next one almost 5 days in the sensor shut down. I exercised after my meal to keep my sugar down. But as a result my sugar went way down really fast then started climbing a bit after my exercise so I’m assuming the rapid change triggered the shutdown.

Last time they rejected my replacement because of too many requests in 6 months. I had to switch to Libre a year ago because insurance was requesting prior authorization because I’m not on insulin.

I think when these sensors are done I’ll switch to stelo. With Zukka it’s a bit more usable since now I can get 5 min readings from it. I wish I could get the g7 again.

Not sure which direction I should go

I have a paid off 2018 CRV with 93k on it. I’m concerned about the head gasket issue and the mileage is starting to pile up. Would you trade it in while it still has equity ? I’ve had no issues but I’m thinking the best move is probably to upgrade while it’s still running good.

I’m hesitant to go with another CRV after hearing about the head gasket issues. I’m looking into a plug in hybrid rav4 but none in stock and it will be 2 months before it comes in. Am I overreacting on this head gasket issue ?

Continued frustration over quality

I posted awhile ago how I hit my limit on replacement sensors. Last 2 sensors lasted 7 days and 5 days. They rejected my last request since they said I’ve requested too many replacements.

I’m not surprised the last one failed since I could tell it was off by 30 points with a fasting reading. Usually for me the libre 3 plus is accurate when it’s working. Until recently me going full 15 days was the norm. A few weeks ago my I tried stelo again and with Zukka now I can get 5 min readings. I may have to give up libre if these sensors quality don’t improve.

I used to use dexcom but insurance won’t cover that cgm anymore since I’m not on insulin.

Accurate payment calculator

I used the estimate on the student aid.gov website. If you put in your spouse information is the estimated payment for both or just you? Is there a way to see payment for both? Im trying to get an accurate estimate on payments. Is IBR allowed for PSLF? I think the student loan simulator I’ve used shows IBR as the best option for me. I just would like to get an accurate estimate so I can budget for these changes.

Denied replacement

I had 2 sensors fail within 24 hours. The one was denied and talked to a manager. They said I had requested too many in a 6 month period. The person said it’s because I requested 5 in December. You know what that was? The recall. So those counted against me. I’m pretty frustrated. They also recommended I turn off automatic updates on my phone. I’m not doing that.

Buyout price

I don’t have the contract in front of me. Is it easy to calculate buyout price based on payments remaining and amount or is it not that straightforward? How much were you all seeing for this amount? If my calculations are straight forward it’s hard to justify that cost but I also do need to take into account cost of mileage overage fees.

So I’ve made some recipes with pudding mix and I can’t seem to find a decent recipe without pudding mix. In particular I’ve been trying to make peanut butter ice cream.

When I use milk, sugar and peanut butter the ice cream tastes more like ice and the peanut butter taste isn’t strong.

Is there something basic I’m missing or is it best to just use pudding mix ?
