Is my ex therapist overstepping?

Cutting to the chase: the woman who used to be my therapist keeps asking about me on a personal level. I appreciate that she cares about me, since she's a friendly therapist, but I don't think she should be asking to talk to me again (on a non professional level. Like she's not asking how I'm doing she's asking to have a non serious unpaid talk for no reason. Just to catch up.) I know that therapists can't have a relationship with their patients and I'm not her patient so maybe it's fine, but it feels weird. She works in her own practice and also talks about herself to use in comparison as a tool.

She's shared her religion with my grandma, her feminism with all of my family (it's not a problem that she's a feminist but she did accuse my dad if being sexist because he admitted to her that he is attracted to women but does not look at them in public so that he doesn't objectify, to which she said he was. Don't know how...)

When I first started seeing her she undermined the person who diagnosed me even though this person and her partner are supposedly the best of what money could buy, and she undermined them to say something stereotypical "you'll like college better than highschool" despite the person who diagnosed me saying "college will probably feel barely different than highschool to you, and you may struggle in the same areas, which would be worse since you won't have the teacher and peer support to help you."

I'm not a therapist so I wouldn't know what if these are normal, but I just don't get a good vibe from her. If needed I can provide the therapist's name and the people who diagnosed me.

Where do I post this story of something I just found out about?

Okay, this is gonna be a wild one, but I just found out the reddit story behind the song I have been playing as my alarm for the past year, CBAT. I'm devastated that I've had people listen to me wake up to this, and that I've been doing it for a year, and I want to know a good subreddit to post this to because I feel like others would find it funny as hell. That's pretty much it tho

Why do people ask "what's your deepest darkest secret?" And expect others to answer?

I feel like this is actually a dumb question though because the concept of a secret implies that it's something that you don't want to tell, and others know that, so they ask for the reason of knowing your secret for whatever reason even though because of the nature of secrets, it s pretty unlikely they'll get to know it. I just feel like it's kind of a dumb question because you're literally not supposed to tell secrets yet they expect you to tell them the most important one. Like, what?

I'm in between a rock and a hard place, the rock my grandpa and the hard place my grandma

I'm trans, male, and almost 16 (my bday is in a month :D), but for the sake of this, my gender is irrelevant, and the only important part is that I am the grandchild of two divorcing grandparents, and I need some advice.

So to be perfectly clear, this isn't my first rodeo being the inevitable middle goer in between certain hard places and rocks. To say the least, I have witnessed multiple divorces. 3 to be exact. My aunt and uncle, turned out unc was gay and aunt was not feeling it. Then we have my other uncle and his ex wife from another country who used him to get to america. And now, my grandpa cheated on his alcoholic abusive wife with the real estate lady who sold my aunt and uncle (other non divorced pair) their current home.

My advice that I need is about the current divorce, and what I hope is the last one. I've been a big influence on my grandma getting better as an alcoholic, since that was why my grandpa cheated. I've been helping her start therapy, and others have joined and took it over. We've been doing good, but my grandpa doesn't choose to acknowledge that because of course, my grandma hurt him, and those feelings he has are valid. But now he's being problematic.

He's been trying to include his girlfriend/escape vehicle into our family and have her meet the family's friend when my grandma isn't there. I've hung around her as well and she's pretty nice but it's making my grandma paranoid that she's going to get left behind, since the girlfriend is a way nicer, prettier and strategically friendlier than my grandma. But recently he's been taking it further by saying that he wants my grandma and his girlfriend to hang out and be friends. He says that if she's a good person she can get past it.

Like, hello? Is he fucking stupid? My grandma's a bitch for sure but having to be around his girlfriend would hurt so much for her, and she doesn't need that with all the bs she's already going through. But when I tell my grandpa, he just victimizes himself and makes her into a terrible person for it. The worst part is that she's actually trying to be a better person, and to accept that his girlfriend isn't evil. But my grandma could never be around her without feeling awful.

My grandma is not an innocent person, but doesn't deserve to be routinely tortured. He wants to include his girlfriend to avoid having to do two Christmases or have to choose, but a mature person would realize that there isn't a work around. No one in my family has been able to convince him that he shouldn't bring my grandma and his girlfriend together. I don't want my grandma to suffer. Does anyone have any advice?

Also I'm aware that it's not my job to do any of this for my grandpa and grandma but I'm doing it anyways because I'm already involved with their divorce and I need to keep myself that way to have a say, which I want to have. So I don't need anyone telling me it's not my job.

Clay foam fursuit lining?

This is the head I'm making (it will probably end at just a head 😭) and I've heard all sorts of people saying stuff about how paper suits mold and while I've seen that a lot of it was gatekeeping since for whatever reason some people really don't like paper/non fur suits and hoods, a lot of people were also saying it from a neutral or helpful standpoint and now I'm worried that all the hard work I've been putting in is going to go to waste. It's not quite a paper fursuit so I'm not worried about disability too much since the foam clay is very hard when dry and easily repaired when broken, but the base is still paper. Should I just pull the paper out from the inside once I make the hard clay shell or should I line it with something?

Edit: btw I'm aware that foam and faux fur are more durable, washable, and will last longer but they also cost big dollars and require sewing which takes up an intense amount of time and energy. I don't have that energy or that money. I'm a kid. I appreciate anyone who thinks they should warn me on the disadvantages and cons on building with clay and paper, but I won't be responding to any comments that are the equivalent of "wait till you have the money", "just do it right the first time", and "fur will look better anyways" since I've already stayed the reasons why I won't do fur and I feel that that should be respected. I don't mean this to be rude and I appreciate anyone who chooses to give advice.

I have a meat chicken as a pet. What do you guys think?

What the title says. I have a Cornish cross chicken as a pet. Not to eat. I repeat: NOT TO EAT. I got this chicken from slaughter day on the farm when I realized that I couldn't do that to a runt. THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE OTHER CHICKENS. THEY ARE IRRELEVANT IN THIS QUESTION. but anyways, he's living with me in my garage in a kennel with soft bedding that I change frequently, cold water during the heat, and a strict diet and excersize plan to make sure he doesn't get too heavy and die, cuz Cornish cross chickens will kill themselves if they eat too much. Actually, they'll die from a lot more than that. I'm doing my very best to give him a long, happy life, even though biologically, he wasn't made to live (PLEASE GOOGLE WHY CORNISH CROSS CHICKENS ARE GOOD AS MEAT CHICKENS BEFORE GETTING MAD AT THIS). i'm not trying to praise myself for not killing an animal. I'm just saying, keeping him alive is not as simple as it seems. He trusts me a lot and sits on me and I love him (Please do not use me loving my chicken against me). But he was born to die. He was raised by me for his meat. Is he still a sin for existing? Or am I an evil person? Do I get any brownie points for going the extra mile for him? I just want to hear what vegans think since his very breed is pretty much against everything vegan. He requires human intervention to live. I can also show pictures if anyone wants, since he is very cute.

Animals don't have a sense of mortality.

They don't. They understand that getting attacked and hurt is bad. They understand that something is fundamentally wrong when something dies. Some smarter animals may even know that when that something is wrong, they can never fix their friend. But they don't really get it like people. I'm not going to argue about personalities. I believe that certain animals of higher intelligence (you know, the classic examples, apes, elephants, dolphins, etc.) do have their own kinds of personalities. They experience emotions. They have feelings. They even have ways of indetifying each other similar to how we have names. But they don't understand the significance of death. They will get over it eventually. Eventually. Humans may not necessarily. We are smarter. We have more feelings. More identification. This is why I rebuke the argument "animals scream in terror at the sight of their dead brothers". Wrong under pretty much every circumstance. Even animals that understand that broken friends can't come back, and those animals become sad don't know that when they hear a scream, it necessarily means that they could die. They just know something is dead. Their fear works the same way with everything else, too. Fear is to avoid pain and to survive, and pain and not surviving is bad, but there is no end goal. When an animal is scared, it is to survive, but they don't know that they will die if they don't. And if they did, Everytime your dog heard fireworks it would think it's dying.

Why am I wrong? I am not a vegan, and this is what I believe and know to be true. Whether it is or isn't doesn't have anything to do with whether I think it is or not.

As a kid, when I do something wrong, how should I ask what I should have done?

Idrk how to ask this but anyways. I'm 15 and considered a problematic child, and idrc about that, but apparently I do things that bother other and I'm defensive, and I'm not mad that people feel that way, but when people tell me that it's not okay or that I should chill out, I don't know what they really want me to do and they don't tell me even if I ask. Is there a way I can ask what the thing I was supposed to do was that's effective and will get me an answer? Maybe this is a question for kids, idk. But I'm sick and tired of not knowing what I'm doing wrong and having my family think I'm an asshole when I just don't know what the right thing is. Not to excuse bad behavior, if I were a parent and I had to deal with me I'd ask God for a refund because not all children are perfect precious little babies that should be cherished. Some suck. I'd like to give myself a chance to be a better person before I assume that I am also not a treasure. So any advice?

▲ 20 r/fursuit

It's completely paper! Not sure if I wanna go to micheals and get fur to make it furry or if I wanna get card stock and cover it with the corresponding colors. This is my first head mask thingy and I feel kinda proud. I didn't measure and it shows but also I'm like 15 so I'd say for the circumstances it's pretty rad. If I cover it all in paper I'll add more paper details, redo the hair (the current hair is a placeholder), and I'll make the ears, fur tufts and hair 3d instead of just pieces of paper cuz I wanna be able to say I have the best paper head out there l. I won't be making what for him unfortunately. Any critique? (Helpful things based not on opinion. Please don't tell me you don't like the style or the style of the hair, it's not rlly helpful and I've heard it enough from my friends and family.)
