Just found out after nearly 10 years of trying to get answers that I do have a CAM deformity in both hips. I knew about the tears in both my labrum’s since 2021 but didn’t know why I had them until today’s sports medicine appointment which included an Xray. Now I’m getting an updated MRI with contrast Monday to see how the tears have progressed since 2021. From there I meet with the orthopedic surgeon the next week to discuss the MRI findings.

The sports medicine doctor I met today did say my BMI is an issue though for my surgery candidacy because I have struggled with being overweight.

Additionally I have hyper mobility in some joints and have been diagnosed with hyper mobile spectrum disorder and fibromyalgia because of my chronic widespread pain.

I have no clue if I be considered for the surgery yet but I would love to hear from people with similar situations who have the same hip issues.

I’ve tried so many different leave-in conditioners on my dry curly hair and keeping getting breaks outs of acne on my shoulders from where my hair touches my skin. Any sensitive skin people also have this issue? Any suggestions on products to try?
