Alcohol and weight gain

Hey guys,

I have never really had issues with alcohol, but i started to drink more than normal over the past 2 months, and i gained quite a bit of weight. I have decreased my drinking now. Wondering how long it’ll take for the weight to slowly decrease? If any of y’all have gone through this!!

For reference i’m 20 F :)

Another question, i had a shot today to try this alcohol my dad wanted me to taste (roughly an oz) after not drinking for 3 days, will my metabolism be okay? or has that completely screwed me and re-set my weight loss process with this? feeling really anxious about that right now.

Low dmg

Hey guys!!

I’ve posted before asking for advice on doing more damage on Ahri, and i definitely integrated the tips and build advice i got!!

I do more dmg than i was doing previously, but my main question is.. do you guys feel as though Ahri is maybe just a lower-damage champ?

I only ask because in my games, the max dmg i’ve ever done was 65k, and normally i sit from 20k - 40k.

Even when i’m super fed and i had really good trades early game / killing my opponent in lane before fights, it still feels like the damage graph is low??

Curious about y’all’s opinions!!

One more thing though!! personally, i build BFT, and i’ve started taking DFT as my rune, and i feel like DFT does more damage than electrocute / aery. Not having the elect proc does suck, but i feel like the burn does so much for her early game, and it can secure kills a bit better late game.

Wondering if any of y’all have been building DFT and any opinions from your own experiences!!

Which calorie app do y’all prefer?

Hey guys!!

I’ve currently gained quite a bit of alcohol weight, and i’m trying to lose it as of now, so beyond cutting back on how much i drink, i’m also tracking my calories.

I was wondering if y’all preferred chronometer or MyFitnessPal? My boyfriend uses Chronometer, and i’ve been using MyFitnessPal, but the fact i can’t scan stuff definitely drives me crazy. On the flip side, the ads on Chronometer also make me want to lose my mind.

I have no intention of getting a premium subscription for either, but wondering what y’all prefer!! If you guys have used either :)

EDIT: if this is a subreddit catered to the “lose it” app then i totally missed that part 😭😭 my apologies if it is haha

Almost Watermelon season!!

Hey guys!!

I’m a HUGE watermelon fan. It’s my fav fruit, and has been since i was a very small kid.

I used to be really good at choosing crisp watermelons, but last year it felt like all of them just kind of sucked. They were either too squishy, went bad super fast, or just tasted off.

I’m wondering where the best place is to get watermelons?? or if y’all have better luck with one place over another?

I love harder, crisper watermelons, especially because squishy fruit just turns me off, kinda like a texture thing haha.

A few of the watermelons i got last year ended up going to waste (not the entire thing, but a significant amount) and I really hate wasting food, especially fruits, and the price of watermelon has been on the rise so i don’t want to be wasting any of it! or buying squishy / bad produce.

In the past i’ve found Sobey’s and Save-on are typically good, costco seems to be going downhill though… but as of last year, every watermelon i got from any store seemed to have problems.

Any recommendations would be AWESOME!!

Huge thanks in advance from a gal who loves watermelon
