Best place to take in foreign currency?

Decluttering around the house and found a small stash of Czech, Hungarian, Russian notes as well as a bunch of different coins from around the world

Where is a good place to take these? It’s only maybe $100 all together

Sorry for the quality , but the original video got removed. This is Sea Bears player Teddy Allen prior to his “assault”

For all the people blaming the mayor, the police and crime in general - this was just a drunk asshole.

Servers of Winnipeg : what was your “tip out” looking like at the restaurant you worked at

The last place I waited at, there was an automatic “7% of the table” that went to the house, which meant if the table didn’t tip, you still owed 7% of whatever the final bill was. Those house tips went straight to owners.

I get a lot of flyers in the mail asking me to “buy your house for cash, and save the hassle” - I’ve thought about liquidating , has anyone ever had any experiences with companies like that?

Does anyone have experience going on EI?

Hello there.

My program at work was terminated recently and I was let go without cause, so that I could get EI. I’ve never been on it.

I was making 55k , and they offered me a replacement job at $20 an hour. After googling , the pay difference between the two is only about $150. The new job would be unionized which makes me think I’d actually have more deductions and it would be equal.

Can’t decide what to do. Working 40 hours a week to make the same money I’d get on EI sounds…. Unmotivating to say the least.

Advice? Suggestions? Wanna call me lazy?

Lemme know !

Need advice on an identity fraud matter

Hello

I am seeking this advice for a family member. She lost her license for a DUI in 2022. She kept driving. A month before it was up, she was pulled over for a cellphone and used another woman’s ID in 2023. She took the ticket under her name, went and got it reduced, and paid it.

In November last year, the police started contacting her on this matter to come forward for questioning. She had originally told them she would meet, but the guilt forced her into a suicide attempt and ended up in the hospital. They heard about it, and I guess backed off for a few months. As of 3 weeks ago, they started calling every week, no message.

Just tonight, they showed up at her place looking for her. Her boyfriend answered , and it was two detectives with her picture on a clipboard. He said she wasn’t there, and they said it’s in her best interest to call in 10 minutes.

What should she do? What are the potential consequences of this? Her only prior is the DUI.
